Guybrush91789
I was the LucasArts store, now they no longer sell it for ps2
Lemon Head
i'm sure you can pick up hundreds of copies on ebay, along with those disgusting little mini-scooters that no one wants any more. I wonder if they'll all get buried in the desert alongside our beloved E.T.
Remi
EB sells used copies for as low as $9.99 too.
Udvarnoky
It has been gone form the Lucasarts store for quite a few months now.
Joshi
they still distribute to stores though, I think if you go to a local computer game store, you'll find it.
Anomonous Guy
Yeah, welll the lucasarts site is a bit poo if u dont mind me saying so coz on the store, u can go to classic games and in there there is EMI... CLASSIC GAME??? it is barely 2 years old......... Plus in the 'classic games' they dont have really any of the old games... I feel that LEC should sell the old games, how else are these games supposed to survive?
Lemon Head
on practically every abondon-ware site you care to mention, that's how.
Joshi
Of course that's unbelievably illegal considering most of the classic lec games aren't abandonware.
Lemon Head
Yeah, but if LEC arn't going to disibute the software any other way then they're just asking for trouble by the bucket-load. How are we expected to spread the love of adventure games when you can't buy the bloody things?
Joshi
Annoyingly, they still sell, so until they stop distributing them to shops, we can't do anything.
Lemon Head
The fools! Damn you! Damn you all to hell!
Herman Toothdecay
Agreed. No one should make money on computer games, they should all be distributed for free. Half Life 2 free for download, woot!
Ernil
Someday soon, they'd better start letting us download the games. I've been through 2 cd's and working on my 3rd...and it's just about scratched to death. I've been sharing the love with my friends, and all of the use is getting to the physical cd's. ptdc
Yeah HT, but the source code isn't worth much on it's own, damn hackers. I think some of the earlier games should be released as freeware like some of the revolution ones were. The source code would be interesting too. LEC are a bit funny at the moment and i can't imagine them giving anything away. Up to and including novelty pencils.

Well, the link was deleted but the actual page of the Classic Adventures Pack (Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, Loom, Indy3, Monkey1) still exists here: http://www.lucasarts.com/companystore/classicadventures/ You can still purchase it, too. Erm.. no definately not Abandonware sites definately WILL NOT contain any LucasArts games... LEC is very good at going around making sure of this, and I know a few sites that got shut down (mine in particular)... So no u wont find LEC games there, which is annoying really because LEC don't officially sell or distribute these games anymore
ptdc
If you want lec adventures try file sharing networks, AND FOREVER BE DAMNED TO HELL!
