Macs=Bad. Mac Dock=Good.

I find it funny that so many people hate windows yet use windows.

I find it also funny when people who hate the mac, yet never used one before, base their opinion on the fact that there are not a lot of games available on it.

I find Rythe because he likes to post his opinion without supporting it.

As for the Dock. Incredibly usefull. The new OS X that will come out soon will be greatly improved. :p

I, myself, dont nessesarly HATE Macs, but i will not be buying one....ever. Its not that they are unsuppirior to the PC, but the Lack of games is what concerns me.

I dunn like ObjectDock, and I don't necessarily like Macs. I will concede that they are the only computer you want to use if you're into media editing, but I've used a Mac for a lot of my life and they kinda piss me off some times.

A lot of the time, I think whether you like Macs or not depends on what you're brought up on. Many mac-users get on macs and stay on them. Pc users do the same. I think that they both have their Pros and cons. I honestly prefer PCs, but that's just because I've been brought up on them. I'm sure Macs are good tools as well, and I know they're better for media edit.

I was brought up on PCs too.

But I've converted 100% to Apple. Oh, I still DO have my PC and its still strong to today's standard. But its just collecting dust in the corner of my room. I play games on it sometimes during summer when I get bored. But at every other time I use my Mac. I find it much better to browse the web and do day to day things. But also pushing it to its limits during school year with my designs.

I love it simply cause its Linux based and a whole lot more stable. Sure, there IS the occasional program crash, like internet explorer or safari (browesers for the macs) but I've never had an OS X system crash like i allways had on my PC.

The odd part is that i DID take care of my PC. I modified it. Made it faster but also cleaner and more stable. Didn't need to format it for over one year. But one day it finally decided to screw up on me. Thats one thing I hate about PCs. It goes wrong and sometimes you just dont know why. When a Mac goes wrong, you know there is a reason why and its most likely your own fault. :p

*Brain: Don't be mean to Admin.*

I don't hate Windows, and I use it.

I hate Macs because I have one sitting behind me and it is hopeless and yes you are right they don't have many games.

does that support my opinion.

The Dock is a interface tool typicaly at the bottom of the screen.

There IS the normal taskbar (which is essentially like windows) placed at the top.

but with the dock you can place programs in it. It acts like a shortcut bar. So instead of having your desktop cluttered with them, you can place those short cuts on that bar. Everything is vector based so it can be stretch around. You can make the logos HUGE or small, but they still look nice of course.

you can activate and disactivate the magnification, which means that when you place your icon over an icon, it will grow bigger underneath it.

you can make it disappeared, etc. its something you should see for yourself one day. Describing it doesnt give it justice.
