-=miniSITH=-
I know that the goal of this PA is not to become a Jedi, but.... if one of us actually unlocked the FSCS what would you do??
Jo
I believe we covered this about two weeks ago at a meeting, before the big patch at any rate. Basically, though none of us are probably likely to get it(who knows) i say, we keep it in the PA. we all know that there are a good number of people out there who would want to know just so they could kill them and make it hell for us. Jackrabbit
Well, first let me say this... I don't want to be a Jedi, but for some reason I've done a lot of reading about them on the official forums. Now, the devs say that there should be a Jedi in the next month/couple weeks, and a lot of people on the forum say they think they’re close. Now, I know you can't trust them all blindly, but it appears the general consensus is that there is a series of quests you have to go through. This means that I will never become a Jedi, because I don't talk to any NPCs. That being said, if I somehow accidentally became a Jedi, I wouldn't tell anybody. I would just go around doing the Jedi thing, maybe stalk some of my friends, and just pretend I'm a complete stranger =). If I ever find out somebody I know has unlocked the FSCS, even somebody I don't like, I would keep it a complete secret, because I wouldn't want to ruin their gaming fun. The only thing I would ask is that they use some Jedi moves on me =P.
StarCords
If anyone gets FSCS, it wouldn't be on this server anyways. (Unless you delete your current character)
Jackrabbit
The FSCS is a second character that you can get on any server (I could have Grask, and Bill, the FS Wookie, both on Starsider).
MandalorianRage
No, you can use FS for the character you unlock it with. If you couldn't what would be the point of that particular character being noticed as FS, if he can't use it? I'm pretty sure that, once you get it, you can start training in it at anytime. The holocron is probably the main thing you have to use to initiate Jedi training. Like, you unlock FS on Starsider, and the only way to start using it is to use a Holocron. But if you make a new character, you can make their starting profession Jedi. That's how I think it might have been done.
Jan Gaarni
I haven't read up on this in awhile, but here's how it goes: X'ero, you are partially correct. The FS slot will have to be used on the same server as the character you unlocked it with. But, this is another character, not the same character. Example: X'ero is on Starsider. He also has 2 other characters, Bill and Bob, on 2 other servers, Sunrunner and Eclipse. Now, X'ero would really like to unlock this character on Starsider. However, faith wants something else, and one of his other characters, Bill, which he does not play as much with as X'ero, turns out to unlock the FS slot. Now he's forced to create the Jedi character on the one server that Bill is on, Sunrunner. Kinda sucks, but that's how the system is. NOTE: I've picked up that the Devs are reconsidering allowing the Jedi character to be used on the same server as the character that unlocked it. They may change it so you can only create it on a server that currently does not have any of your other available characters are on. Alternatly, they may make it so that the Jedi can only use Force skills, and other Jedi-Only abilities.
Jackrabbit
All that, and I don't think they let you pick Jedi as your class. First you open up the character slot... Then you make the new character... Then you go through a bunch of crap to figure out how to be a Jedi. Some think you just go through the same series of quests you went through to get the FSCS. People have actually had lightsaber components, they just can't do crap with them because they're not FS. As far as the FSCS only being on the server you unlocked it with, I'm not sure. Xx_Patman_xX
If I get the FSCS, it will definetly be from my character on Shadowfire. Hopefully, the slot can be used on any server because, trust me, I would come back to Starsider. Who knows,I actually might be pretty close. Iam only two missions for Luke away (as Iam writing this) to getting my first Holocron Splinters. Stupid Holocrons, dont do anything! It just says "they are incomprehensible... yet familiar." MandalorianRage
*is going to blow up shadowfire so Froobuk comes back to Starsider* Heh... I've actually met a guy who has a holocron today. He says it told him to get commando. And splinters are worthless now. Where is Luke? Yavin?
Toonces
If I somehow unlocked it I would play it a bit, perhaps get to the point where I have a lightsaber and stop playing him. I likely wouldn't tell anybody but Groo (my brother) Hell, I would let him use the FS slot.
Toonces
Froo, what's your charecters name on Shadowfire?
Kaiser Spaso
heh..................well let me tell you what i will do if.............errrrrr........... when i become a jedi I am going to pay my good bud Neoc Cyur A.K.A Reaper a little visit because i am a man of my word and i never break a promise. and i am going to take out this TIO pa i have been hearing so much about, but i should give too much of my plan away so i am going to stop there. see you all real soon
MandalorianRage
I highly doubt a single Jedi could take out all of TIO... Go have fun and try though...
Xx_Patman_xX
A) My name is Patx on Shadowfire. Iam a human, rebl Commando/ Sqad leader/ Temporary Smuggler. Iam 1/0/2/0 in commando. Novice SL. And 1/0/1/0 in smuggler. B)I remember in the FAQ they said a Jedi Knight could take on about 25 players, so its possible he could take TIO. MandalorianRage
I still have my doubts... Think of all the things.. TIO is huge, and they would have more than 25 people defending their city, they have AT-ST's as well as some fairly strong underlings. I'd think it would turn out like this 50 players, with 20 AT-ST's, 15 pets, and 25 hirelings.
Xx_Patman_xX
yeah probably not, but whatever. Regarding Jedi... I think iam going to go to Dantooine this weekend and try and get some more Jedi Holorcron. Iam pretty detirmend right now to try and get the FSCS. The main thing I have been doing recently is doing NPC missions. I have no idea of knowing, but I think ive probably done at least 60% of all NPC missions. Hopefully that will have somethin to do with it.
Kaiser Spaso
well i will take a hefty chunk out of TIO before my saber hits the ground.... and besides reaper's blood is my main target but my main character is going to be a badass gunfighter so thats going to be a handful for tio alone
MandalorianRage
The guy on Dantooine doesn't give out holocrons anymore. Just shards. And any holocrons that were recieved from him, shattered into shards due to, as the devs say, a "large disturbance in the force". Holocrons are now a bit rarer, but drop more often. So the best thing to do would be to kill some high level NPC's and see if you can loot one from them. Oh, and if you go after Neoc, be sure you leave -A- out of it. We don't want to be a part of it. Wraith 8
i heard from some rebel that some of the Dark troopers at the imp base near our town was dropping holocrons.. but that could have been a rumor but it has been more and more busier since
-=miniSITH=-
I have been reading the jedi forums a lot and these are confirmed holocron drop spots.... Crystal Cave-Crystal Hunters-Dantooine Around Rebel Base-FS NPC's-Dantooine Rebel Surface Marshals-Anywhere Dark Stormtroppers-Anywhere And Pretty Much Any FS NPCs on any planet Your best bet is to just run around Dantooine looking for FS NPCs or The Rebels in the PA can set up a hunt to go to that imperial base and we could raid it but we would need ike every rebel in the PA DO NOT go the the Crystal Caves there are always like atleast 30 people there and there are only like 1 or two drop a day there
Wraith 8
dont go to the base its been swamped the only good thing is that our town is becomming more known
Xx_Patman_xX
Maybe we (the affiliates) should set up a small house near the base. We could have a little snack bar and *sometimes have a medic there to heal. It would just be a good way to show what kind of people we are, and squash those rumors that we are a reb PA.
