nahmed
Well looks like game that was continuously thrashed by (now dead)Mixnmojo, was the one of the best in recent years developed in-house by LucasArts! http://ct.com.com/click?q=41-qqJ1IEKKoGN~E1fK9t_iDxIJKclR
Alien426
Yep, GameRankings.com shows an average 80% for all platforms it's released for - not bad. So far.

ThunderPeel2001
Well they weren't that mean to it, it sounded like whoever wrote the review here really liked it but was afraid to tell anyone
Jake
I won't deny that Mojo has pissed on Gladius probably too many times during the course of its development but it wasn't all without good reason . We were initially extremely psyched about Gladius when Spaff and I got a very early sneak peek at some of the art back in 2001, but every subsequent showing (with the exception of that most recent Press Day article) was very poor - nobody would answer our questions or even give us a proper demo, and the artwork seemed to be getting worse with each appearance of the game. Fortunately it seems like we were deceived by bad demos, and on top of that the game picked itself up visually quite a bit in the last couple months. Our review of Gladius (once I get around to writing it) will be generally positive with a couple small gripes.
