I tend to think of 95 as the older, dumber brother that no one wants (supports) anymore. 98, while with a better hairstyle and slightly bigger IQ, is just a few months away from the same status. 98SE is 98 with a makeover. ME is the retarded, whiny brother than daddy (MS) is trying to kick out of the house but it won't leave yet! 2000 is the high school Football team captain - reliable, stable, has a bright future. XP is that same football captain with extra padding that slows him down and protects him from idiots. Linux is... well Linux. What's a Mac? Dammit! I made a silly mistake, Win 98SE was the OS I praise of all OS, not 95. Oh well, 95 is still great for classic gaming. When I buy myself a new hard drive I'm going to format 60B for 2000 Pro (or XP, whichever is easier to get a hold of) and 20GB for 98SE, just so I can play all my classic games on it - TIE Fighter, Red Alert... oh the possiblities! Man I can't wait to fire up TIE Fighter again! Just realize that the 9x-platform Windows - 95, 98, 98SE, ME - are pretty much the same OS with better compatiblilities as the line goes on.
