Crow_Nest
Im talking about those free PC games you get when you buy PC hardware! Just now i tried installing "Arx Fatalis" that came with my new graphic card last month, i was almost done installing it when it got stuck at one part for a long time so i quitted the installation. Then installed Deus Ex Game of the year edition i got last time in my audigy, before it could even start installing, it was not responding so i had to end it. And i was like "WTF is wrong?!". Are the disc lousy because they are free? Low quality? Damaged? Or am i doing something wrong?
Alegis
I got Aqua blahblahblah with my hardware thingy (ASUS), with cd key adn all but it wouldn't install, some error on the disk orso.. The quality sucks indeed but sometimes they are very good games (no one lives forever 1 and 2)
Samuel Dravis
I got Morrowind with my video card. It works perfectly, and is a very good game as well.
DarkLord60
Morrowind isn't considered a free game though you got it in a bundle. What video card did you get?
Samuel Dravis
The All-In-Wonder Radeon 9700 Pro. Why isn't it considered free? I didn't pay anything for it; it just came in the box, along with some movie editing software.
Mex
Free games depends on the company that is supplying the free games.
Redwing
Well, with Deus Ex in there, you definitely couldn't be talking about the quality of the games... Am I just being naive, or aren't all CDs that games are recorded on, well...the same? Maybe it was just your computer? ^^;;
Boba Rhett
Not all cds are created equal. Take the PC Gamer discs for example, those suck and many people have trouble using them. It's pretty odd that they'd put Dues Ex an a crap disc though.

Yep, Morrowind is one of the best 'free' games I've gotten. Me and SD had many a long sleepless nights:P And then I got Bloodmoon...
Troopr-Undr-Fir
Well it's sort of an oxymoron...You think they'd actually care about that thing if they are giving it to you for free? HELL NO!
DarkLord60
Morrowind isn't a free game America's Army is. Yopu just got Morrowind for free there it was a free game to you settled.
Phizzle
I got Raven Shield and TRAOD with my sound card. Raven Shield works fine, but TRAOD doesn't even let me see the menus.
MennoniteHobbit
Free games are fine, except for ones that come with an old product. (I mean like buying an obsolete ATI Radeon ---- and the company you're buying it from, having a special offer.) Free games on the Internet, on the other hand, or perfect, if they come from a reliable site.
ZBomber
I got a free game with my computer, but not with any video cards....
