ExcelsioN
I've never heard of ANY of these except LOTR:ROTK. I can't even remember if any of the other ones were released over here. Which I doubt very much. I say we do our own list.

But IMO alone I think it should've been #1 There are many movies better than LotR so why can't you just accept that? I hate LF, you're all LotR nerds. Is it because you associate it with Dungeons and Dragons (D&D)? Which, by the way, is really really boring.

Originally posted by IG-64 But LotR was so massive and awsome Yes it is, but sometimes the good things come in small packages. Take Galadriel's statement to Frodo in FOTR, where she said: "Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." That can be intepreted as: "Even the smallest thing can change the course of one's mind." So, go watch those films, and your mind could be changed...or not. Your choice. El Sitherino
I like LoTR but it's crap compared to Star Wars:OT . EMPIRE RULES! anyway, I really liked lost in translation, fun movie to watch with a girl *winks to skinwalker*(though I missed a few parts while... uhmmm I just tell ya I wasn't paying full attention at parts... of the movie mind you Samurai = no. 1 I guess I'm biased since I just happen to admire and adore samurai and all things about them, they are fascinating. Pirates = no.2 It's funny and it smells of Errol Flynn inspiration! not to mention.... JOHNNY DEPP! Lost in Translation= no.3 Most kick-ass Bill Murray movie... EVER!! (yes even beats out caddyshack... well except for the pot joke part) LoTR: ROTK = no.4 Just a beautiful transfer from book to screen. The battle scenes were wonderful, I just wish there were more! Somethings gotta give = no. 5 Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton... purely hilarious and touching.
