gotcha8903
does anyone know any good working free ones? I do spy-tracker and virus scan and still get them:mad:
Nerd_Annhilator
well, I have some experiance with two. One, is the google toolbar, and the other is admuncher. The google toolbar is free, and very useful, as you can search for stuff without even going to google. It works well. admuncher, on the other hand, isn't free, but blocks a lot of stuff, including ads on the page. I think it costs 20 bucks or something. EDIT: by the way, both of the things you mentioned do not kill pop ups at all. Try ad-aware too.
Samuel Dravis
Or you could get a new browser like Netscape 7 or Opera or... you get the picture. I use Opera, and it loads pages much faster than IE or Netscape as well.
Darth Groovy
Panicware's Pop Up stopper is available on download.com. It does work, but you DO have to hit the ctrl key to open alternate windows.

gotcha8903
thanks, will these work while you are playing a game too? examp.-during a duel in JA, it sucks to have to click on the game five times before you can move again:(
DarkLord60
I also suggest goole toolbar and that you download Ad-aware for those offline pop-ups
Datheus
Hold it. Do you mean this, gotcha? No software is needed to get rid of these... You'll first need administrative priviliages. 1.) Go into the Control Panel. 2.) Open Admisitrative Tools. 3.) Go to Services. 4.) Scroll until you see "Messenger". 5.) Right click it and select "Stop" from the context menu. 6.) Right click again and choose Properties. 7.) Go to the "Start up type" drop down menu and select "Disabled" 8.) Click OK. That should fix those.
