Benny
I documented the bootparams for the FT Pc Demo the other day and lo! verily twas different stuff in it than in the final game. In the spirit of those threads with all the screenshots that say 'LOOK! LOOK! That red pixel's now maroon!' here's some screenshots of the random stuff contained in it. elTee
Okay, the bandwidth of this host is very low, so if you can't access the images I apologise. They'll be stored here temporarily until Benny can get them onto his mojo space.
Huz
"Father Torque! You're going so fast you're blurred yet I'm still able to speak to you?!? Whoa, man, just pretend I'm on my bike!" These are ACE!
Drigo Zoxx
"Server is too busy." Hmm. So, I will never know if there's any 'Full Throttle SUCKS' banner in one of those screenshots of yours.
Huz
WORST HOST EVER! Erm, anyway - these are more worth seeing than most "spot the difference" screenshots.

Rapp Scallion
Well, is there any way to play this stuff? Would be fun. And could you please give me a link to the FT demo? And what's that scary thing in picture 4 (http://quick.mixnmojo.com/4.jpg)? -Rapp Scalion
Benny
Ft demo is here To play them you use boot parameters - these take you to a specific point within the game. You can use the new version of ScummVM Q+E to play with them. That was the plan anyway but the Huzster and I ran into a few problems with the glyph update script thingymabob (the Mojo server doesnt have the lynx browser on it or something). So er I dont know when the next version of Q+E will come out. I've attached a wip version that has the FT demo bootparams in. To use: select Full Throttle (Dos Demo), then choose the option that you want from the boot param combo box. Hope that helps That thing in picture 4 is Ripburger when that journalist is taking the photos of Corley's murder.
James Isaac
That is so cool - I love seeing stuff like this from games. You are the best.
ATMachine
Your WIP of ScummVM Quick and Easy defaults to Aspect Ratio Correction. And I can't stand Aspect Ratio Correction. BOOOOOOO!!

ATMachine
I have explored the FT demo a bit more thoroughly and found cool stuff both via bootparams and via Scumm Revisited. Ben, Mo, and George Lucas at the Demolition Derby The same scene from the final game (notice the extra contestant added and the cars behind them) Inside the Demolition Derby The same scene from the final game - note that the cars are bigger, and their respective colors have changed Ben in front of the Vultures' hideout Lip-synching tests from the intro - notice that Darrel is given some lines he isn't in the final game A black-and-white background sketch by Peter Chan A sideways view of the road which I don't recall from the final game Initial storyboard for Corley and Ripburger in the intro Initial storyboard of Corley Initial storyboard of an overhead shot of the limo Initial storyboard of Corley looking at the biker gang Unused background for the final showdown in the cargo plane The finished version of the scene where this background would've been used Rough close-up of Ripburger Rough picture of Ripburger talking to Ben behind the Kickstand Rough picture of Ripburger talking to his goons after they knock Ben out
JBRAA
Dude. Do you know you are the best. I love those pix.
ATMachine
A few more pictures, because I was playing around more and couldn't resist. A shot of Ben's bike. This long pan is never seen in its whole form in the final game, just the right and left sides. An early version of the computer menu found in the cargo plane in the endgame. A menu design with a lot of options not in the final game. Some of the options, such as whether the interface is "Click and Hold" or "Click and Release," actually work. An early version of the room in which you use the electromagnet to trap the dog in Todd's Junkyard. As the notice says, it isn't working correctly yet. Also, in image 3, I've seen that font used a few other places before, especially in a screenshot of Brian Moriarty's The Dig in this scan of Adventurer #7. I wonder why LEC never used it in any released games.
