LukeKatarn
I read on the officiol Lucas Arts site that KootOR 2 The sith lords has some of the origional crew. That should anwser you question.
Com Raven
In fcat the only returning member that will be playable again ís T4M3. However, some claim that Hk-47 will be in, while others say a droid similar to him will.

LukeKatarn
Actualy if I remember correctly the site said that Carth would be back too.
FiEND_138
^^^ but wasn't that just a "cameo" (IIRC)? *Shameless begging* Please Obsidian, you game developing gods, bring HK back as playable. *End shameless begging* *EDIT* All they really say about Carth is "visiting his home world 'Telos", so I dont think he's in this 1. Could be wrong though, hasn't been the 1st time
Com Raven
Hmm, weren't you able to kill Carth in KotOR as a female dark sider? If so, I am not sure if he will be back in Sith Lords.
Sarendipity
Someone over at the JC said that you not only determine Revan's fate through dialogue early on, but you'll also determine the fates of the other party members. But who knows. I'd love to see lots of cameos though, so hopefully that's true. EDIT: You've all seen this right? http://www.gamebanshee.com/previews/kotoriipreview1.php#null "In order to preserve the integrity of the storyline you chose in the first game, Obsidian is cleverly allowing your new character to tell the game what happened early on through dialogue with another NPC. This in turn will alter the course of events in The Sith Lords, especially which NPCs remain alive or are now deceased." and "Expect to see cameos and back-story filler from Carth, T3-M4, HK-47 (of course) and a slew of others who survived the last story. So does that mean Revan will make an appearance? This has been confirmed, but his/her story kept secret."
dark jedi 8
yeah, i read that last night. pretty cool how their setting that backstory stuff up and if character will even be in the game depending on your dialog.
lukeiamyourdad
From what you can see from the screenies, it seems that the weird masked soldier that seems to fight on your side seems to be an iridorian(that's what I think). He could be HK-47's replacement.

Prime
I think he is back for an appearance, but not playable. T3 is the only returning playable character.
T7nowhere
Why O why do they want to bring Back T3. the only reason I used him was get into the sith base and to see his interjections.
LukeKatarn
Same here T3 is my LEAST favorite person in KotOR.
Okoru
T3 was slightly more useful than Mission, was terrible. T3's computer skill, combined with boosts from items, made him very helpful when you needed to hack into something, especially if, like me, you didn't spend anything on CPU skills for any other characters. lukeiamyourdad
I think people hate him because he's bad at combat. Remember, T3 is one of the only characters that are alive no matter what happens at the end of KotOR1.
Poggle
Come on T3 wasn't all bad in combat give him calo nords pistols and all the Yavin robot equipment he did also have the handy ability of being imune to jedi powers who am i kidding why they bought him back i'll never know
Sounds Risky
To create a bit of continuity between games and to parallel R2 and 3PO in the films.
Mono_Giganto
I choked T3 with tk102's friendly choking power. It says on the party screen, 'I am broken. So very very broken.' C'mon gotta bring Zaalbar back!
Com Raven
Hmm, with Zalbaar I always had the feeling of him being a "you know, Han has a wookiee, so our hero has to have one as well" kind of character. So I think I could live without him
deviance2k3
i hope Carth isn't back as a playable character, i had enough of his whining during the first one, and dont want to have to go through it again.

lukeiamyourdad
I read somewhere that you get a scoundrel now instead of a soldier as first friendly NPC. Ugh...now that's going to make the early game easy...

I liked his characheter. He was quite usefull in combat.. Look at the bright side: If he does come back as a playable charachetr, then he will have nothing more to whine about (KOTOR 1 left him out of ammo)
