wassup
Don't know if anyone else watches this show (spinoff of Buffy), I myself have only gotten into it the past year or so, but it's an awesome show, except that IT HAS ENDED. And it is getting replaced by shows like "Superstar USA." Ugh. Anyways, today was the rerun of the series finale, very unconventional ending and IMO fits right into the theme of such a great series. Have a good one Angel.
Sabretooth
Never heard of the show, but what I can say is- RIP, angel
toms
it is being messed around real bad in the UK... moving channels, getting cut, changing times, etc... I eventually ended up buying the 3rd season on VCD off ebay. Season 1 & 2 were pretty rocky, some awesome bits and some terrible ones. Season 3 surpassed buffy. Season 4 has just started last week, so i'll see how that goes. I'd say that the writing in 3 was some of the best outside West Wing.
Pie™
I've watched a bit of angel, and all I can say is that it's a bit less terrible than Buffy... Still, those are the worst things that have evered happened to entertainment involving vampires IMO
Zappa_0
The fans are trying to save it http://www.savingangel.org . It seems that have have done alot and maybe has a good chance of winning.
Kain
I say give Spike his own show. Cuz Spike owns! Elleria was pretty badass too.

I've watched some episodes of Angel, and I hate that it is going off. But I do think Superstar USA is pretty funny. I don't think it is "replacing" Angel, though. (Spike does own)
Poggle
Angel went the same way as buffy only quicker buffy had maybe three maybe four half decent series Angel managed two maybe three and got stupid the same way buffy did canning the show was probably the best thing they could have done
toms
buffy did loose it a bit in seasons 4 and 6, and never realy matched up to the genius of 2 & 3. I though angel took a long time to find it's feet (season's 1 & 2 had a couple of awesome episodes, but most were fairly poor). Season 3 was really cool though, and we haven't got seasons 4 or 5 yet. I don't think they ever really planned it to go beyond 5 seasons, so i don't rate their chances of "saving" it. Its not like it got canned without an ending farscape-style.... I must buy Firefly and see what that was like before it got canned. I wish they had managed to pull off the Faith the vampire slayer spinoff, ould have had to be better than Tru Calling. has that been canned yet? ---------- What is it with american networks canning shows 1/2 way through their first run? You have to give shows a chance to develop. Most classic shows (a-team, only fools & horses, etc...) took at least until their second series to take off. Other canned shows i'd recommend checking out if you get the chance: Birds of Prey: (batman spinoff) wasn't billiant, but definately had a cool idea and a lot of potential. The actress who played Huntress was great IMHO. Once and Again: (semi sci-fi) Interesting series that has the added value of starring Dennis Haysbert from 24. Cool premise about a fat acountant who gets resurected by the government as a super soldier, but is more interested in getting back to his family. Vengance Unlimited: (dark humour a-team?) The ever cool Michael madsen as the even cooler Mr Chapel who exacts vengance in mission impossible style ways on bad guys for either $1million or "a favour". (ps - anyone have this series?) SeleneRayne
I hate the second to last episode of Angel where they were chasing around Buffy, it was stupid. And Spike was the BEST part of the whole series. Everything else was stupid.
Redwing
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I can't believe they ended it! I can't believe they ended it like THAT!! ;__; toms: Season four is probably Angel's best (if you like arcs ). Season five wasn't as good, but still good. Selene: Third to last, actually, and ya, that was really annoying. Aaaarrrr. >.< Spike? Best part of the series? He didn't DO anything!? o_o
Kain
Wanna know what Spike did? He was created! Spike is SOOO much cooler (and sexier) than Angel.
