Astrotoy7 Posted June 13, 2004 Author Posted June 13, 2004 Originally posted by Curt-Man gandalf the grey is cool, and gandalf the white was cool too with his flashlight stick, but merlin would own everyone of those wizards in a second, he is the most powerful wizard writers have ever stumbled apon Merlin is *the* wizard, and appeared in literature far before any of the others... IIRC, Merlin could transform into a dragon, amongst other hella cool tricks *goes and reads "La Morte D'Arthur" and "Sword in the Stone" again* I doubt he will do well in the polls though, because he hasnt been in anything too recent, apart from that crappy hallmark show with Sam Neill... mtfbwya
Doomie Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Gandalf the grey. because he had a sense of humor and a pointy hat, like was mentioned before, and because he looked a bit like a hobo. Don't get me wrong, that was good. He travelled a lot and you could see that from him. When he became Gandalf the white, he looked a bit too untraveller-ish if ya get what i mean.

Astrotoy7 Posted June 14, 2004 Author Posted June 14, 2004 one thing that must be admired about Saruman though, was that he was the first wizard to come out of the closet, displaying his pride by wearing the gay flag as his robes.... *please, no posts saying 'I dont remember that in the movie!'* read the books ! mtfbwya
