I saw 2 movies at the theater today, King Arthur and Spiderman 2... and a dvd :D

King Arthur: Told from the view of Lancelot, a well done tale, but it didn't show too much of Arthur's past, just of him becoming

. The plot just revolved around Lancelot and the rest fighting with Arthur to gain their freedom... Overall, a good action flick, no huge flaws, a worthy 5.50 7.75 dollars and 2 hours of my time.

Spiderman 2:

HOLY **** you must see this... :indif:Way better than the first spiderman... a much more gripping emotional plot, the character development is good, and things move at a higher pace. The cgi is a bit overused but good overall.

Scarface on DVD: :xp:

Awesome...

Keira Knightley :p..... The drool takes over. Now, why Arthur sounds like a retard? He reminds me of Raymond's brother on the tv series Everybody Loves Raymond.

We need more of that around here. Honestly, I am jaded. I for one have seen and followed ALL of the King Arthur films and long since decided that "Excalibur" is the best of all of them. I highly encourage you to look at that one.

Excalibur has some really cool bits... but all the overdramatism, mud and endless "last man standing" battles can wear you down after a while.

I watched Holy Grail first, and couldn't really take it that seriously after that...:D

How did clive owen do?

The bond producers are apparently watching this closely to work out if he has the "star potential" to be considered with the role of bond (a role he has been consistently linked to for years...)

It truely is hard to beat Excalibur...... great detailed story, graphic, tons of action.... havent seen arthur yet but Keira draws me closer n closer........a dirty hot female that gets down n beats the hell out of ppl .... always a plus...

If you are a loooong time comic book fan you will seriously enjoy S2.... they cover several comics in this movie and the fights are 10x better than the fly bys they did in the first one..... they actually SCRAP this this time...and I also agree this one is a bit more emotional than the 1st.

ps VOTE NOW FOR KEIRA KNIGHTLEY AS THE NEXT BOND GIRL :p

The fight scenes were ok but I didn't get in to them like fights in other movies. During the fights I didnt give a crap about who lived and who died because the characters seemed boring. Arthur seemed like a leader but did not seem like a king. Excalibur didn't seem that important as it does in other Arthur adaptaions. Also, was Merlin even in the f***in' movie?

I'll have to see this movie again to make my final opinion on it.

Based on only the one viewing I'd say wait until it comes out on DVD.

I'll agree with that, excalibur didn't really make much of a difference... the tale focused more on the knights. But it was so cheap how

I liked most of the characters, but some of them dissappear and reappear so much I got lost  I still like the fat guy and Lancelot going back and forth with their jokes :D

Merlin was in there, but he seemed more like a hippie than a wizard...

I'll side with you Chase though, that one fight on the ice was amazing and original... rivals on the

For big fans of the story/legend, make sure you read Sir Thomas Malory's "La Morte D'Arthur" ........

carl orff's famous 'o fortuna' operatic piece is entirely appropriate in the soundtrack, and Helen Mirren was a damn babe back then....

Well, I saw both Arthur and Spider-Man 2, and the latter was deffinately the better of the two. Arthur was okay, probably worth seeing once, but not again. Spiderman 2 on the other hand, I have already seen 3 times, and if someone asked me to see it again I would. That is what a superhero movie is supposed to be!

Merlin was in King Arthur for about 2 or 3 minutes. I think the guy that came to Arthur in the woods with Guinivere was Merlin. I could be wrong though. King Arthur was ok, but it's strongest points were in it's action sequences. They were ok too, but not the best I've seen.

Spider-man 2. WOW. I Loved that movie. I've played the game too, and it's also way better than Spidey 1. The only part I didn't like in Spider-man 2 was

Well yeah, the theme song literally does it for me :)

as for spidey 2...IT KICKED SO MUCH ASS!

So much in fact that all the other movies needed to put ointment on because of it :D

When I went, my girlfriend and I were early, about an hour to be exact (Mmmmm, oxymoron). So We go and see if the theatre is busy, no one is in it. So We see the end of dodgeball. Meh, coulda waited for the DVD. Don't get me wrong, it was funny, but not something I'd pay $8 for. Thankfully I didn't :).

So anyways, when Dodgeaball let out, I leeked miny Troopr and then we went to Spidey.

I walk in and I drop my skittles...Friggin thing is packed. And it was still 20 minutes to cutains! We had to sit 4 rows from the front, but it was deffinitly worth the chiropractic surgery :)

Dodgeball is well worth 8 bucks...

Don't get me wrong, it still was the best super-hero flick I've ever seen.
