Is Sept. 21 the day they will be on the shelves, or is it the day they will ship it to retail stores? All I have found is that Sept. 21 will be the release date. Have you guys found anything yet. I am most likely gonna pre-order mine so I'll have it when ever they arrive.

I plan on buying my copy from Wal-mart since they seem to have the cheapest DVD's and video games. I might pre-order it online through wal-mart.com using their online gift cards. I hope I can get mine copy on Sept. 21.

Whoopknacker Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I usually wait til the Best Buy Sunday ad before I get it. I have found that Wal Mart is not cheap about their games. I bought BFV for 40 bucks then found that Best Buy was selling it for 35. I can wait a day or two to save a few bucks.
fishlore Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I've never, ever pre-ordered a game before. Do people do this because they've actually gone to buy a game and it has already been sold out? I've never in my life looked for a game on the day of the release and been unable to find it. So that leads me to ask why someone would pre-order a game. I have a friend that pre-orders everything. I have no idea why, but it seems like he's always getting games several days later than everyone else because he threw down a pre-order and that store didn't get it yet. Meanwhile ten other software stores within walking distance have it. You'd think that after the tenth time this happened he would stop, but I guess old habits die hard.

I'll proabaly get it the first day, cause I'm saving up and I'll split the cost of the other supplies with my bros.

Strong point...I only had something like that with JA, the shop didnt have it yet... I think people do it 1. they think they will have it faster 2. get it mailed, dont have to bother getting to the store 3. one free little keychain

LOL:D I can pre-order through Wal-mart and get it the 22nd. They have over night shipping for like $10. I don't mind paying $10 more to have it before any store has it. If I do it that way then it will arrive the day before my off days. That way I have 48 hours to play it without any thing bothering me. LOL:)
