Troopr-Undr-Fir
I know I've seen a thread title that had asked 'what is the best download manager' before. But I had never really needed one, till now. I have had my hours switched around a bunch and now have some vacation time. And I have decided to download some UT2004 mods/mutators. As of now I have the Remote Strike 7.0 mutator, and the Carball game modes. They are pretty awsome. But I saw some others from that Make something contest, and they are in the 100 mbs. So that is where you the swampies come in. I'd like a free manager that allows me to resume the download after exiting it. (ie. I download for 2 hours and get 30% I turnit off, come back the next day and resume it from the 30% even if the server I am downloading from doesn't allow it.) I've tried looking for the mods on KaZaA, but no success . Any help here would be hot. Oh and also give me your 2 cents on which mods you enjoy for UT2004. Thanky. Troopr-Undr-Fir
Originally posted by The Truthful Liar One word: DAP - Download Accellerator Plus Well three... -_- 3 more words, I have... It only lets you resume downloads that are 10mbs or less. Other than that you have to pay. Which is evil. Originally posted by Astrotoy7 i've tried quite a few, but just cant get over getright......too easy to use Go Getright ! Savin 56kers from turnin into murderers all over the world mtfbwya Might I be so bold as to ask for a link? EDIT: BTW, Mozilla bites the dust also. It is a good manager, just is screwy with the big downloads. Oh and it is a slow browser for 56k... guess I'll stick with IE

coupes.
Get Right is a awsome, not only does it allow you to resume your downloads, but it somewhat boosts your download speed. Verry effective little peice of software.
