Redwing
((JM: Oops I plead sleep deprivation. Everybody else: Discussion thread! )) Dawn *Misae laughs bitterly* Misae: What 'voice' do you think you hear, Tanara? I've had a voice inside too, for the past year. Telling me that I was weak and foolish, and that my 'friends' would abandon me. I do realize how difficult it is to ignore something like that. And you know what? The voice was right. My friends did abandon me. The Sith took me. *She begins stalking forward, her lightsaber held ready* Misae: The Aesir will kill me if they see me, now that I know the truth. They will kill you as well, eventually. You'll see. If you're one of the lucky next to go, they'll find a way to abandon you. Tell me, did you people even realize I was gone? What do you think your fate will be? Will they give you to the Sith as well? Or will you even be so lucky? ---------- 11 Hours into the battle, 3 hours remaining *Aidan continues ripping through his opponents. He was now focused on disabling the Sith - noticing that those he attacked didn't heal unless they died - and killing the Heloki and Fenris brood. He had become separated from the other Aesir of his schiltron, and he had no idea if any of them continued to survive. For all he knew, they could be just on the other side of the wall of Sith that surrounded him. He kept pressing forward, leaping into the air, crouching on all fours, swinging with his tail, his clawed hands and feet. He had wounds inflicted by Heloki claws and Fenris teeth on each of his arms and legs, several rakes across his chest, more down his back, and both his wings were ripped. His tail was scratched, and so probably were about twenty others spots on his body. Aidan felt a fear he'd never known in the petty arenas he'd been forced to compete in not so long ago. Abruptly, memories came rushing back. No, this was nothing like the arena battles. Although the crowds believed every arena competitor used lethal force, the owners of the fighters didn't like their property getting destroyed, and Aidan had always held back, always. Now he felt a horror in a distant part of himself at what he was now doing. And the fact that the creatures around him were willing to do worse.* So this is war. *It was only a matter of time before exhaustion would take him over, and he would die.*
Writer
"You think you were abandoned?" Tanara snapped. "I was there, Misae. We didn't realize you were gone that night. When they discovered your absence, they went out to look for you. Do you know what they found? They found you. Dead. Do you hear me, Misae? There was no life left in you." "I was there," she said again. "When nobody was looking, I even checked you for any signs of life myself. There were none, do you understand? None! Don't tell me we abandoned you. You were gone." "Do you realize what that did to me?" she continued. "I had lost my only connection to this group. Kira was growing stronger inside me. It was only because of these people you once called friends that I stand before you now, a Jedi. I can see this is the way I am meant to be." Tanara's lightsaber was still held ready to defend. Her face darkened in pain. "Kira is still strong. Since you will not return to us, let us get this over with so I can go to the aid of my sister." Admiral Odin
((BD: The Sith would not fall back. Why would they since they don't stay dead. Also fear of their masters punishments is far worse then Hal's shinny sword. Especially when the orders for the Sith are to impale themselves on the weapons to create wholes for the Heloki and Fenris Brood. and the helms: That should give you an idea how strong the Heloki are. Scar: Cracern is boderline to breaking the rules and well I would enjoy tossing him around like a rag doll, I don't think you want that. Also if there is a hole in a schiltron the enemy army floods in destroying the formation)) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *The sith, that Hal had been defending off rush him at the same time from all directions. Cracern's charge places himself outside of the failling schiltron. He quickly finds himself alone and surrounded by Sith. The Aesir who defended Sir Vin says nothing while he finishes off teh heloki. Returning back to his position the warrior is pounced on by one of the Fenris brood. The Aesir is knocked down his helm coming partly off exposing his neck. Without waiting the wolf rips out the Aesir' s jugular, then jumps onto Sir Vin latching it's jaws on his left arm.* ------------------------------------------------------- Sigrun vs Greip a Frost Jotun *Sirgrun approaches Greip carefully, spear held in a low defenisve posture. Greip carries a large war hammer, and at the sound of the rooster crows her eyes begin to glow white. Within moments her skin seems to be incased in layers of ice. When Sirgrun came into range Greip slammed her hammer into the ground were Sirgrun was standing leaving a large dent. Sirgurn deftly avoided the swing and sent a powerful thrust at the jotun's legs barely managing to penetrate the ice armor. This continued for most of the day. Greip taking almost wild swings with her hammer that Sigrun easily avoided while thrusting her spear at three locations that could kill a jotun if the weapon went in deep enough. On the eleventh hour Sigrun finally manages to send her spear through the jotuns armor and deep within hitting the heart of Greip. However, while Sigrun made her deadly thrust, Greip was taking a swing with her hammer. The hammer hits Sigrun in the side sending her flying with the force of the blow. Sigrun lands around three hundred feet away. She gets to her knees coughing up blood before succombing to death. Greip is able to stagger two steps backward before falling to the ground dead.*
Redwing
Dawn Misae: *rage burning in her eyes* You lying SCUM! *She lashes out at Tanara. Their sabers connect and lock together with a flash of white light* Misae: You think you know those people after two weeks of being with them? You think you have the power to beat me, let alone save your sister? You simple-minded fool! You think you know anything? You think you know power? Writer
Tanara backed away, trying her best to defend herself. Misae was stronger than she'd expected. For a short period, their fight stopped and Tanara spoke. "I never said I knew this group," she said. "I merely said they helped me overcome Kira's presence. And you seem to have completely ignored the part where I said you were dead. I checked you myself. How do you explain that?" While Misae was thinking, Tanara thrust her lightsaber toward Misae's chest, but pulled back before it got there and swung at her head.
BattleDog
((The sides but not the rear. As to wounds, patience.)) 11 Hours In *Hal is now alone and beset on all sides, as fast as the Sith die they re-animate. Hal is now unable to block all their attacks and glancing hits begin to contact with his armour. Just as Hal dodges another stab one of the Sith in front of him is cleaved in two by the dark blade of a longsword. Kuuki
*11 hours in *Sir-Vin gets his left arm grabed, but he immedately swings with his saber in his right hand, slicing the neck of the Fenris Blood.* *Cracern attacks the Sith not aware that he's been separated. He continues to swing his dual sabers and to dispatch the meny Sith around him. A Sith unexpectedly gets a small hit in while Cracern's back was turn, grazing his back. That quickly exposes a portion of his back, with a slight saber burn across the width of it. He lets out a scream, then turns and hits the Sith responsible's saber with his own including a bit of his strength into it which pushes the Sith backwards. With Cracern distracted again, another Sith quickly gets yet another cheap shot in and this time it was his leg. Cracern kneels down on the wounded leg and finds himself on the defencive very quickly. He gets back on his feet again, still on the barely manageable defencive. Then two Sith get into a saber lock with each of Cracern's Sabers, while another slices at his chest, yet another saber burn. He screams in pain yet again, then turns it into a short warcry as he flips his sabers and quickly cuts the two Sith's sabers in two, and lunges at the forward Sith, but like before, Sith quickly take advantage of the misdirection and inflict another wound, this time on his left arm. He drops his left saber, and begins to defend with it, gritting his teeth, he trys the best he can to keep the Sith at bay...*
Admiral Odin
((BD: Just reminding you and everyone else. Deac: Sorry for not being clearer, that luxury is for all fighting solo battles. However really only Orthos and Tanara get the choice since The Aesir would not sit out the rest of the fighting.)) *Four sith rush at Cracern, going after his lightsabers. They managed to create a small hole in Irvine's defenses, and that was all that they needed. A Heloki hidden behind the sith at that moment steps forward and thrust his right arm at Cracern's stomach. The claws slid into the flesh puncturing internal organs. The heloki with a smile on it's face quickly withdraws it's arm and sends it back into Cracerns chest.* ---------------------------------------------------------- Idona vs Blast a Fire Jotun *At dawn Idona stands looking at the her oppent, a fire Jotun armed with a great sword. Idona hefts her round shield and long sword, ready to try and kill the monster in front of her. When the rooster crowed, Idona and Blast charge meeting in the middle of the field. As Blast raced towards the Valkyrie Hunter his eyes glow red and flames wrap around his body. When they meet blast takes a might swing at Idona's head, she ducks but barely. The heat radiating off the jotun caused the grass around him to wilt. Blast swings a second time at Idona's chest, she easily evades this attack and manages to get inside the great sword to strike at the jotun (in other words past the weapon). Her sword meet the Jotuns mid section but only brefily. If she kept the blade in contact with the jotun to long it would heat itself up like it was in a forge. The day passed with Idona inflicting minor wounds to Blast when she was able, otherwise she spent most of the day evading the Jotun's great sword. It was in the thirteenth hour Idona exhausted from the combat failed to completly evade Blast's sword. Blast swunt at Idona head but dropped the blade mid-swing to strike at her chest. Idona took the attack on her shield shattering her left arm and knocking her down onto her side. She hit the ground with enough force to knock her helm off. Idona quickly stands her shield arm hanging lame at her side. For the rest of the hour she does her best to keep the jotun at bay not finding an opportunity to attack again. Towards the end of the day, Idona again fails to move out of the way of one of Blast's attacks. Instead she had to parry with her sword. The impact of the two swords broke Idona's hand and sent her blade flying through the air to land twenty feet on the ground. Blast then steps foward and backhands the right side of Idona's face across the face sending her back another ten feet. The right side of Idona's face was charred with contact of the Jotun's firey skin. Blisters formed at the outer edges of the burn where the center was blackish gray. Idona lay on the field unable to get up and as Blast came forward to end her life the rooster crowed for the second time ending the fighting. Blast out of frustration roars but stops his advance on Idona. His eyes return to normal and the flames disappear. Blast giving a final glance at his oppenet turns and begins to walk off the battle field. BattleDog
12 Hous In. *Hal and Drago are now hard pressed to defend against the increasing tide of Sith, although both their armour is just standing up to the punishment Drago has taken a graze on his left elbow where his coat meats his gauntlet and his arm is beggining to stiffen up. The cut on Hal's leg throbs painfully and his crushed left grieve is causing terrible cramps in his left shin and ankle. As Hal blocks another thrust his left foot slips on a patch of gore and he goes down. Hal manages to quickly disembowl the first three Sith that rush him. As he rises a fourth, more tatooed than the others, rushes him, Hal blocks the first thrust but the second slips past his guard and under his skirt, the Sith scores a long cut across the upper thigh before being dispatched to the underworld.* Hal: Ahhh! *Hal's leg crumples under him and he is left fighting on his knees.* ((Good enough?)) Kuuki
*Cracern feels the sharp pain of the Heloki's claws, he drops his sabers and pulls out one of the Sith lightsabers hidden on his belt. He quickly slices the Heloki in two. Holding onto his torso with his left arm, pain from the wound and the blood that he can feel coming from it. He coughs up a bit of blood. His heart already racing from the amount of adrenaline already in his system, throbs even harder due to the already lack of blood. With the adrenaline and his wound he suddenly feels something that he hasn't felt in years, although he does not even have a consciousness thought about it. Rage fills his system like it once did when he first met up with the group... ((IE when hal or someone (dont remember who it was BD's character) sorta 'trapped' Wh Irvine on a spacestation or something while the group left, thinking that WH irivne was turning dark or what ever)) He let's out a loud yell, a rage now taking over and with that a sleeping power awoke... He attacks the Sith with his hate, with his force enhancedd strength now even stronger then before, he hits a Sith's saber, which causes it to get pushed backwards into his allies. Cracern quickly widens the circle around him in a quick blaze of fury, even tossing up a few Sith in the process. After about five minutes of his rage, he begins to slow, and then he falls to a knee. Out of breath, he stares at the Sith with eyes that held iris' that were of pure white, now dulling as the dark side naturally settles with in him... Now tired he can no longer hold up a saber, the Sith around him stop their attack on him, and go back at the Aesir *Cracern takes a moment to observe whats around him before he gradually collapses...*

You left me behind. *She shakes her head* It was Heimdall. He came to relieve me of my watch, took me to a ridge... *She winces, as if having difficulty remembering* He hit me from behind, and when I woke up... *She looks up* That shapeshifter girl! Or one of the others she gave her power to... Maybe you didn't--- *Misae stops and focuses on Tanara, narrowing her eyes* Misae: You really haven't heard anything I've said, have you. I know the truth about the Sith, Tanara. The Aesir told us they were created by the 'Jotuns', and they helped the Jedi hunt down and destroy them. The truth is, the Aesir created the Sith. They kept them as slaves and hunted them for sport. The Sith turned to the Dark Side to gain the power to free themselves. *Misae returns to a defensive stance, raising her lightsaber* Misae: The ancient Sith once believed in a 'Time Matrix' as well. It was a cruel fairy tale to keep them thinking they could one day free themselves. When some found out it was a story created by the Aesir, they revolted and were wiped out. *She pauses and stares intensely at Tanara* Misae: You are all hunting a mirage to keep you busy until the Aesir can finish their job. Tell me something...where are all the other Jedi you've seen in this galaxy? How about the inheritor of the Starkiller? Where are all the most powerful survivors of the Holocaust, excluding the Sith? Writer
Tanara hit the ground hard and lost her breath. As she struggled to roll away, stand up, and catch her breath again, she heard Misae speaking to her. She did not hear what was being said. Then, suddenly, she heard Misae say, "You really haven't heard anything I've said, have you?" She continued and Tanara listened to her. Finally, Misae finished and Tanara shook her head. "Where are the more powerful Jedi that were not destroyed?" she asked rhetorically. "Let me ask you this; how should I know? Am I in charge of what they do? Are they in charge of me any longer? No, Misae. We have lost contact." Almost as if Misae's own voice were speaking to Tanara from inside her own head, she heard Misae's first words. "I take no responsibility for what the others may have done, but let me tell you this; I awoke to find you gone. I reached out with the Force and sensed all of our companions nearby... except you. Shortly afterward, they went out to look for you." "Go ahead, Misae," Tanara finished, thinking back to Misae's first words. Even if it could, Hal and Drago would not be able to manage that in a couple of hours, especially with only melee weapons)) Gunn vs Gjlap a Frost Jotun At dawn Gunn armed with her favorite Axe and shield charged the frost Jotun Gjlap. Gjlap covered in ice armor and armed with long sword and shield charges as well, and when they meet she swings at Gunn's legs. Gunn steps back quickly but as the sword passed in front of her she kicks the blade sending it into the ground. Gjlap had to take a moment to free the blade, giving Gunn an opening to attack. Taking her axe Gunn attacks the jotun's knee. Freeing her sword Gjlap gives Gunn a vicious kick, sending the valkyrie back about 20 feet. Gunn landed on her feet and immediatly charged the jotun again. Gunn unleashed a series of savage attacks against Gjlap forcing her backwards. About mid-day Gjlap's split asunder. Gjlap tossed the useless shield aside and gripped her sword with both hands. The jotun skillfully blocked and evade Gunn's attacks but could not find an opportunity to launch a counterattack. As the day wore one Gunn began to suffer from exhaustion and her attacks began to slow. Towards the end of the day Gjlap finally found a chance strike at Gunn again, and in short order the tides reversed and Gunn found herself on the defensive. In the fourteenth hour it looked like it was going to be a stalemate and each combatant would live to see the next day. Neither wanted this so with renewed furry the two females set at each other again. Gunn suffering from sever exhaustion began to slow giving the Gjlap openings that she gladly took. Taking a low swing Gjalp aims for Gunn's legs, Gunn backs up, but trips on the claw of a dead heloki. Gunn falls onto her back and was defenseless for a moment. Gjlap changes the arc of her swing and connect with Gunns right leg at the knee severing it. Not pausing for a moment, Gjlap steps forward and removes Gunn's right arm, and then shortly after that the rest of Her limbs. Did you think it was a coincidence that we just happened to run into you on Yevoh? *Misae starts stalking towards Tanara again* Misae: Since the very start of this I have known something was manipulating us, something powerful.
