Well it means everything got out soon enough. Doesnt matter though since they really want to publish it together with the trilogy

I got the demo in the playstion magazine but it wouldnt let me play it.

They must release a demo. It will give them a boost selling the game and the can't leave computer players without demo. They must release system specs and the rest of the info!

Going Gold means that the game is finally finished... it's no longer in a Beta stage - the version is 1.0.

Sort of. When a game goes "gold," that means it has gone into mass production. So all the disks are being duplicated right now as we speak.

Shame Lucasarts doesn't complete the sections when they release them. Missing the 5th unit of the Imperial and I notice the Imperial weapon section had only descriptions of 4 weapons. We still haven't seen flythrough/gameplay video of Bespin or Kashyyyk. Still missing full list of vehicles! i am glad it went gold. Just hope the copies are really on the store shelves on Sept. 21.

I for one wouldn't mind having a few little bits of info left out about the game untill its released. Sure it'd be nice to know everything thats going to be in it but once you know everything wheres the OMG factor when you find something you weren't expecting.
