[RNGD]Tyrant
Does the PC version of the game have 'radio commands' like the Battlefield franchise? ...and any details?
THE BADGER:
Don't know until the game comes out.
Tyler_Durden
If i remember correctly, i read that there are indeed commands for your team to send reinforcements, attack, guard, retreat, etc. It's mostly for bots in SP but i guess it's functional for MP like battlefield. The game also has team chat which battlefield 1942 and vietnam don't have. Although i think i'll just stick with the commands.......... although team chat could be cool if people actually cooperate and don't say f*ck all the time. Not a very star warsy word, eh? [RNGD]Tyrant
thanks for the info...good to know. I hope the commands are more than just the 'orders' type. The most usefull ones in BF are the 'spotted' commands. (eg: 'Armor SPotted', 'Airplane spotted'). Plus the request keys (requesting repairs, medic, aircover, etc) by the way: Originally posted by Tyler_Durden The game also has team chat which battlefield 1942 and vietnam don't have. BF and BFV have team chat (L key) and 'all' chat (K Key)
Schetter
Pretty sure he meant voice chat with your teammates.

Tyler_Durden
actually voice chat, my bad. Yeah there's team chat in bf vietnam, but it's more for guys ragging on each other and others saying "I'm rick james, bitch" or whatever, your basic chat spam. Good times. I think you actually could have voice chat in vietnam but it's not supported. However this game has supported voice chat which is good and bad depending on the clientele of the server. Imagine a stormtrooper saying ''I own your ass!'' ''Your gonna go crying home to mommy?'' ala BFV style
Master William
Yeah that's kind of the reason I rarely ever play PC games these days, there's always a bunch of PC nerds typing stuff like "omfg" and "noob" and other childish insults. Imagine these nerds with a microphone, hell brakes loose. I was playing Movie Battles 2 (mod for Jedi Academy) and kept getting insulted when I killed a certain guy - "omfg droideka noob", "grr Sith noob", etc If we could end such childish things in the world of PC gaming everyone would feel better
Whoopknacker
It has to have radio commands. Most multiplayer games these days do. Voice chat will come in handy and I hope that they do have ignore features like in BF42. I dont know why some players feel that they have to have the language that would make Ozzy Osbourne blush. It doesnt help. All and all there will be radio commands and I hope that people will use voice chat for practical purposes and not venting or cursing someone out. Mountainforest
I hope they are in the game. All people, including the ones without a headset, have to be able report they've seen enemies on a place they aren't suposed to be.
