Evil Dark Jedi
How do you host images through photobucket etc? Cause I want to be able to do this.
Sivy
well i imagine photobucket is like any other image hoster. you sign up for a free account. then you can upload pictures from your computer. then whenever you what to post them you use the {img}picture's address{/img} for it to work { = [ to find out the picture's address you can right-click on the picture and goto properties and then you can see the address under the URL. it's easiest to just copy and paste it into the tag. Nairb Notneb
I haven't made a website in a couple of years, I forgotten most of it I think but I've always wanted to make one. I've often toyed with the idea of breaking down and (chokes) paying for the domain and space just for the heck of it so I can do what ever I want to. My wife would kill me if I said "Hey I'm going to buy my own web site today honey" "Why" she would ask. "Just because I can". But it's still cool. PR-0927
Umm Sabretooth, dude, that is because people don't keep their .cjb.net active, meaning they have to log in every 90 days. As for FreeWebs, I told Zappa_0 to use that, it is set up more organized than GeoCities.

Just as I thought. But that file it really offends Norton. Is Norton a racist?
Nairb Notneb
Geocities!! Aaaarrrrrrgggg!!!! I went to try it once, a long time ago . . . . Didn't like it. To many helps and stuff for people that don't know anything at all. All I need is space to put it and maybe some simple forms or something. I don't want/need anything fancy, just a place to call home on the web. Thanks for the info.
TiE23
Never go to Angel Fire *Shudders* (Its like they let you set up your own site, just so they can put their advertisements on it) 20 mb of space, like zero bandwith, no remote linking, and a really long web address. well http://www.freewebtown.com could be a hit or miss, it has problems with uploads, but its got a good amount of bandwith, 1000mb of space, files up to 100mb, and remote linking is okay I assume cause I haven't been busted for doing so. And it has a good combination of templets for a professional look, but still a place where you can put your own HTML code for a more personal site, like music playing when you enter the site. http://www.freewebtown.com/TiE <---- Mine but for pictures only, just stick with http://www.photobucket.com TiE
Nairb Notneb
Tie23, thanks for the new option. Any trouble with uploading your files? or anything else for that matter? The info you gave me answered a lot of concerns/questions for me. Thanx. The photo album/guestbook/counter, did they come with the site or did you bring them on yourself?
