Oh, right, you guys don't know me.

WEll, i kinda got here by accident once, and i saw this place has some funny threads, so i return every now and then to see what kind of sillyness has come to this place, and now i see something i can participate in, so i post here....

I hope that all made sense...

Yes. So you don't want me around? can be arranged.

I take sarcastic wise-asses ARE welcome here?

By the way, a little tolerance never hurt anyone. However, intolerance can hurt someone.

And i thought it couldn't get any worse than the swamp...

How can ye say that, lad? If tolerating ye wouldn' hurt me, don't ye think I would keep me bunghole shut?

EDIT: oh, and i always overreact. That's jsut a little thing we all have to take in account. Don't think i'm as serious as i make it sound.

I have just the right medicine for that illness.

First of all, get a movie rental card. Then rent the following:

Monty Python: "And Now For Something Completely Different...."

Airplane!

The Kids In The Hall (any freaking episode)

Any episode of "Seinfeld"

Watch those until you start to laugh without reason, and your sense of humor shall be restored! ;)

I'm not saying I hated it. In fact I enjoyed and have watched it several times. The probably I have is people saying that we have to learn from this "sophisticated" humor when actually it was random and silly. It was funny, I'm just saying the writers probably didn't have to think too hard.

As for Life of Brian, that was an actual satire that lives up to the "sophisticated humor" that's always labeled on Python.
