First or Third Person ?

Just curious on which style people like to play First or Third person?

on maps like bespin i feel liking to use 1st person, on open maps like hoth/geonosis 3rd person

All maps 3rd person all the way. I'm just used to using 3rd person for battlefield-type games like this and SOCOM. SOCOM spoiled me I guess.

Third person is definitely better. You can see more of your surroundings -- in 1st person, I'm constantly getting flanked.

1st Person, no doubt... zooming in on your enemy is better, don't worry about getting flanked, just keep an open eye out to where you are getting hit from... more accuracy when targeting and shooting your enemies.

 

3rd person for vehicles only.

i agree with singard.. i am bf1942 and bfv player and i used 1st person for that but, for battlefront.. 3rd person all the way..

i wont know until an hours time when i get my copy of swb

yes, of course theres a cross-hair in 3rd. they wouldn't expect you to just spray and pray.

 

same cross-hair as first person.

My thoughts exactly. This applies aswell when piloting vehichles.

Like Grep, I prefer 1st person while on foot, but 3rd Person while driving/Flying.

 

Sometimes though, I switch to 1st person when driving, say, an AT-AT for instance.

Cause I like how it feels.

roger that! You can't go wrong with 1st person. Does anybody know if zoomin' in with 3rd person takes you into 1st person zoom or if there is any difference? I go 3rd also when i'm a droideka.

Well, there's something with taking-me-into-the-movies over it.

 

Zooming in 3rd person just zoomes in alittle, everything get's alittle bigger, but you're still in 3rd person, and you can still see your character.

 

1st person has the best zoom.

I like 3th person better. You feel like you have more control of your player. You have a better idea if you will be hit, and when to make a roll to the left or right. As a bonus you can look around edges without being seen.
