EDIT: (Update) PC Games Top 10 List (PC Only)

I posted the last Top 10 but it included XBox and PS2 sales as well.

sadly, since it's a cross platform release the poll includes sales across the board. I really don't think the PC sold as well as the console. If not from the early hype, all the negative talk and reports showing up are incentive to pass over it.

Especially when you can pay $50 and get CS:S fed to you, and HL2 the exact moment it goes gold.

I know what you're saying and I agree to some degree but I couldn't find ONE Top 10 list that did not include the PS2/Xbox versions.

If the sales overall continue to keep it high in the top 10 charts generating more revenue for LA theres a chance they'll release something. In every interview it ends with a wait and see when they are asked about tools for mods.

On the other hand until this community starts hacking files with some home grown tools I think Pandemic/LA will be less inclined to release any tools any sooner.

as i posted somewhere in the forum:

the feeling that the game was really only made with the console player in mind, with little effort having been made to make a proper conversion to pc, explains why the selling of XBOX and PS2 are going very well (1° in UK at second week) while cannot say the same for PC (5° position in UK)

UK General chart at 2nd week - 1°

http://www.elspa.co.uk/about/charts...02&chartType=27

PS2 - 1°

http://www.elspa.co.uk/about/charts/charts.asp?d=20041002&chartType=17

XBOX - 1°

http://www.elspa.co.uk/about/charts/charts.asp?d=20041002&chartType=19

PC - 5° (going down..)

they could be 1° if they took much more care of the strenght and capabilities of PC. PC is not a console. God!

Looks like there is alot of baby-sitting money going around out there for the girls that bought into 1&2.

hehe

I'm with PCZone on the Sims... don't get it, wont get it... the boat left me on the dock for that one.

ROCK SW:BF, it is a great game, it has its flaws, and I am sure with patience and time they will be resolved.

"The success of FIFA and Fable has seen last week's number one, Star Wars Battlefront, dropping down to number eight in the chart after only a single week at the top, with its sales reduced by nearly 60 per cent over last week's figures."

Well you can´t sell copies if you don´t have some or?

Not only there are UK stock shortages but in Germany too.

SWBF rank at 3rd here in Germany but you can still get copies of the SIM2 rank 1 and Rome: Total War rank2 .

SWBF will be back in stores in about 1 or 2 weeks :-(

Rends
