jaemz Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Hello all, I just saw on the Playstation.com site that LucasArts is releasing Starwars Galaxies on the PS2 this month (dec). Has anyone heard anything on this? Is it just a glitch on Sony's site? Also, I would love to hear from the PC gamers who have played this game, and what they think... would this translate to a decent console game?

Astrotoy7 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Hmm....SWG is back on the ps2, I thought that was canned Prolly not for me anyway.... I'd prefer to ave my pennies and get a PSP ! YAY ! mtfbwya
J360_Thunder Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 It's a decent game for the PC, if you like star wars. Some of the "l33tz0r" powergamers get disappointed because they can't totally dominate all the time, and some things just aren't quite where they could be yet, but they're working on that. But I highly doubt it will translate into a decent console game ever. Just the way the game is designed, it'll have to be toned down quite a bit it would seem, though I may be wrong.
-Revan Solo- Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 I have heart that SWG costs so much money when you play it over the internet.
Pho3nix Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 ah, Revan is back, and still with the same "Heart" typo.
Evil Dark Jedi Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 As was said spend your 50 bucks on somethings else.
Oriolemanbr Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 Its definetly worth the cash, well, at least to me.
Ranre Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Sorry for asking but shouldn't this be on the SWG forum. But anyways, I have SWG and it cost $14.99 a month if you got the deluxe.
ET Warrior Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 It probably wasn't worth bumping a month old thread just to ask if it was in the wrong forum
Prime Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Originally posted by Ranre Sorry for asking but shouldn't this be on the SWG forum. Like the game, I don't think anyone is in the Galaxies forum...
OD-Nile-X-Z-N Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 SWG, in my opinion is the best starwars game, and the best mmorpg ever made. If you like star wars and can afford 15$ a month you should get it. Also to the guy who said it costs 15$ for deluxe editions, it costs 15$ a month for everyone;) (sorry if this is a old topic lol) advice from the jawa
Oriolemanbr Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Originally posted by Prime Like the game, I don't think anyone is in the Galaxies forum... hate to break it to ya but whole lotta people play star wars galaxies. and they love it
Ranre Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 *Coughs* we have 80,000 members here. Over 600,000 play SWG including me.
thefettman Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 I played the trial for the computer, defiantly not the worst MMORPG , but it's not the greatest. It's you can afford the monthly payments and if you're a star wars fan, it's worth a buy.
Ranre Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Agreed, I have seen better game. Some bugs need to be looked at better so as they wont come back. Too many ppl are going are hand-to-hand professions that it doesnt feel like star wars anymore.
masterbob7 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 i was talk to the person in charge of the swg game degisn and she said that they may not make swg for ps2
Oriolemanbr Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 its a great mmorpg and the only one i have ever played. I hughly recommend it if you like roleplaying, being jedis, working hard, having fun, or anything like that. Because theres always a guild out there that believes in the same things that you do. Hey Ranre, what galaxy are you on?
