Seprithro
from the makers of pregnat revan, ladies and gentlemen, i give you... movie style jedi cloaks well actually i dont "give" them to you, at least not yet, i still have a little work to do, add a hood, give it a new texture, smooth out a few glithces ,ect. but the point is, it works, told you guys that preg-revan would pay off
T7nowhere
looks sweet. like you said though the texture needs a bit of work but I would like it as is.
Seprithro
thanks man but after looking at it a little more while playing, it doesnt need a little work, it needs alot of work, anyone got some links to some good screens of the movie cloaks? Prime
All that texture stretching must make it a bitch to skin...
Seprithro
oh this isnt stretching, this is actualy a new model i made, then attached to the default torso, i havent skinned it yet, but all i will need to do is re-uv map the model, which shouldnt be that hard, since i made it, i know where to break the textures/ but first, it must be tweaked, it needs a little work
90SK
Thats pretty nifty! Great job, and good luck texturing!
Seprithro
ok here's a new version of the robe model, in this version i added the hood and re-worked the cloak flap, i think next i'll add some extra cloth to the arms like in the films
Colma Adawin
serious question, why dont you use the REVAN ROBES and just texture it to be brown, grey, red, blue? obviasly getting rid of some of the certain textures so it doesnt look like the revan robes?? Seprithro
your kidding right? revans robes are a dress plain and simple, what i want to do cant be done by texturing, this is a cloak like they wear in the movies

wingzro
how are you going to get rid of the overly starched look?
Seprithro
because of the way it's modeled, it's not that bad, it's no where near as bad as revan's cape, but i am working on it

Seprithro
here's a little up=date on the cloak model i am working on, some have told me my screens dont really show what i am trying to do with this model so maybe this one will make it a little easier to see what effect i am going for

Bobo
i remember posting a semi-request for a cloak but i also stated it would be impossible. although it wont have the flow animation from kotor2, once again im proven wrong. a fantastic peice. although a better idea is to put that robe onto Xavier2's jedi model with his permission of course. one thing i never understood is the gloves, its just a cheap excuse to get the Developers at LucasArts to not make a skin for every single race lol --bobo
Seprithro
well it is possible, also as you mentioned i am trying to add the flow effect through the use of a flex moddifer(not working out as well as i had hoped) as for X's robes, i think not
Mono_Giganto
Yeah, ask T7 about that flex modifier, I think he had some real troubles with it for Revan's robes. And it would be possible to make skins without gloves, if you altered appearance.2da
