Astrotoy7
Q. Who were Wedge Antilles' romantic interests and what became of them? A. *Qwi Xux (pink bird girl that helped engineer the death star ) They met during the Jedi Academy Trilogy Novels IIRC. they split up after a few years, it was a mutual decision IIRC. By the time if NJO, Qwi was last mentioned as helping a species called Vors rebuild a sacred structure on their homeworld(Vortex) *Wedge then fell for Iella Wessiri of new republic intelligence. This all came to fruition in the later X-Wing series novel, Starfighters of Adumar By the time of NJO, Wedge and Iella had a young daughter Myri. * * * Q. Who was 'The Dark Woman', what was her real name, and name the bounty hunter associated with her ??
Rogue Nine
A. Her name was An'ya Kuro, Jedi Master known for her unorthodox methods of training Apprentices. She was the mentor of Ki-Adi Mundi, also a Jedi Master and Jedi Council Member. The bounty hunter linked to her is the failed Jedi Aurra Sing. Source: Dark Horse Comics Q. Who were the last two Jedi killed by Darth Maul prior to the events of Episode I? Firstly. CapNColostomy
Originally posted by Astrotoy7 Q. Who is 4-LOM, what does "4-LOM" mean, and who was his partner ? A. 4-LOM is a protocol droid that became a bounty hunter partnered with Zuckuss. Source is Tales of the Bounty Hunter. I actually had to refer to the SWDB to get the "for the love of money" acronym though. I didin't remember that part. Q. What infamous bounty hunter did Grand Admiral Thrawn once pose as to fool the rebels?
Astrotoy7
Originally posted by CapNColostomy Q. What infamous bounty hunter did Grand Admiral Thrawn once pose as to fool the rebels? A. Man, you *almost* got me there..... I was thinking fett, and then it dawned on me... the other fett... Jodo Kast. Thrawn impersonated Kast in an intricate scheme, which IIRC was described in the 'Tales from The Empire' compilation. Kast, was a bounty hunter, who also wore mandalorian armour, so often used to be mistook for Fett. Kast often used this to his advantage, letting bounties and creditors think he was Fett so as to collect the $$$. Fett eventually caught up with Kast on Tatooine and put an end to him(this was described in a Boba fett comic. which I think was called 'Boba Fett : Twin Engines of Destruction' or something thereabouts ) phew ! this is what Kast looks like (as per the Star Wars customisable card game ) * * * Q. Who is Keiran Halcyon, what other name is he known as, and how did he discover his true heritage ?? mtfbwya
Rogue Nine
A. Keiran Halcyon was the name Rogue Squadron pilot Corran Horn took when he decided to attend Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy on Yavin 4. He discovered his true heritage when his R2 astromech Whistler played a message for him left by his father, Hal Horn, letting Corran know that his true grandfather was not Rostek Horn as he had previously thought, but Nejaa Halcyon, Jedi Knight. Corran decided to take up his grandfather's legacy and attended the Jedi Academy not only to honor his progenitors' memories, but to help him in his search for Mirax, his wife. This one may be a tad bit obscure, but here goes... Q. Who was Zeth Fost and what name is he better known under? (Bonus: Name the Corellian smuggler he once worked with.)
Tanesh
His real name is Kyp Durron, an apprentice of Luke Skywalker who turned to the dark side and took the, uh, sun crusher (I don't know the English name - it's the ship constructed by Qwi Xux which can destroy while suns) to attack the empire. The Corellian smuggler could be Han Solo who rescued Kyp from Kessel or Fen Nabon whom he met during his mission as Zeth Fost. But I'm not sure if Fen was Corellian.
Rogue Nine
Very good, Tanesh. I was actually looking for Fen Nabon (yes, she was Corellian) with the bonus question, guess I kinda forgot Kyp knew Han too. You get to ask the next one then. Astrotoy7
*cough* References ! I assume you are referring to the Jedi Academy Trilogy with Kyp, but I cannot remember Fen Nabon from there...it has been a *very* long time since I have read that series. Niner, if Tanesh doesnt come back after a day or so, you can post another question if you like, your questions are pretty cool mtfbwya

Fen Nabon didn't appear in Jedi Academy trilogy, it was a short story from the book "Tales of the New Republic". And since you seem to like more difficult questions ... Q. Who was Lex Kempo and how did he die?
Astrotoy7
Originally posted by Tanesh Q. Who was Lex Kempo and how did he die? A. Damn these "Tales of" compilation. They occupy a very old and vague space in my memory ! I'm pretty sure this is from "Tales from the Empire". OK. Lex Kempo was a crazy corellian who paraded around in a modified imp scout armour. He was initially was an imperial scout, but then defected to the alliance/new republic, working within the Red Alpha unit. He eventually broke off from this, joining Red Moons, a paramilitary unit. He met his end by driving a repulsor sled full of explosives into a slaver compound on Gabredor III, leaving a crescent shaped trail of destruction in the compund - the symbol of Red Moons. * * * Q. Who was Kir Kanos and Kenix Kil, and what were their respective occupations ??
swphreak
A: Kir Kanos is a Royal Guardsman for Palpatine. Kenix Kil is Kir Kanos acting as a Bounty Hunter, and I think Kenix Kil was the name he used during his training on Yinchorr. You can read it in the Crimson Empire comics. Good read. I really need to re-read my Star Wars library again. Q: Which Rogue Squadron member is a princess, and of what?
Rogue Nine
A. Her name was Plourr Ilo and she was princess of Eiattu. This story was told in the Rogue Squadron comic series. Q. Astrotoy7
I gotta say, Im really impressed with standard of questions Great job *wipes tears* Q. Name one of the Y-wing pilots flying cover for Dash Rendar as he boarded the Imperial freighter Suprosa A. Heh. the fact that it is you asking this question Niner, is itself a clue This occurred of course during SOTE era, but IIRC was overlapped by events during the awesome X-Wing Alliance PC game. The Y-Wing escort was provided by none other than Luke Skywalker with a posse of Bothans in tow * * * Q. Which famous EU Imperial Captain, (later Admiral) was present at the Battle of Endor, and what was his ship ?? mtfbwya

Cap, I think you hadn't noticed that the thread spilled over onto a second page(as my question re-Kir Kanos was at the bottom of page 1) No biggie. You are absolutely correct though, as was phreak * * * My question stands which compared to the doozies we've had recently should be fairly easy Q. Which famous EU Imperial Captain, (later Admiral) was present at the Battle of Endor, and what was his ship ?? mtfbwya
swphreak
A: I believe you are referring to Gilad Pellaeon (I think I actually spelled his name right!), captain of the Imperial Star Destroyer Chimaera (I think I spelled that right too). He became captain after assuming command when the previous captain was killed during the battle. He served under Thrawn, Daala, and others. He becomes Admiral/Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet when Daala was defeated and steps down as Admiral. I especially like his participation in the New Jedi Order series. Q: Name all the Super Star Destroyers in Star Wars (I can remember 5 <.<). Bonus to name all if there is more than 5...
Jan Gaarni
Eclipse-Class: Eclipse Built for the Emperor around the Battle of Endor, but wasn't finished until 6 years later. Destroyed by the Emperor when he lost control over the Force Storm he had created. Eclipse II Destroyed by the Galaxy Gun, along with a sizable force of other ships, and Byss itself. Executor-Class: Aggressor Flagship of Admiral Roekm stationed in the Inner Rim Regions. Entered into service before the battle of Endor. Executor The very first Executor class to roll out of the shipyards. Commanded by Admiral Ozzel, later by Captain Piett. Darth Vaders flagship. Met it's demise when it plunged into the second Death Star surface. Guardian Flagship of Fleet Admiral Gaen Drommel. Was stationed in the Core regions near Coruscant at the time of Return of the Jedi. Heavy damaged three years after the Battle of Endor, but survived. Captured by the New Republic a decade later. Intimidator Was finished around 13 years after the Battle of Endor. Became the Yevethan flagship, later renamed to Pride of Yevethan. Iron Fist Original named Brawl, but was quickly renamed to Iron Fist by Admiral Zsinj, after his old Victory Class star destroyer. Knight Hammer Constructed by warlord Superior General Delvardus and commanded by Admiral Daala approximately eight years after the Emperor's death. Plated with special "stealth armour" as a sensor countermeasure, which has the interesting side-effect of making the hull almost completely black. Lusankya Secretly built and buried under the surface of Coruscant. Used as a top security prison complex for Imperial Intelligence. Razor Kiss Constructed 4 years after the Battle of Endor. Stolen by (then) Warlord Zsinj. Reaper Flagship of Scourge Squadron, an elite group of star destroyers which was formed for Grand Moff Tarkin and commanded by Grand Moff Ardus Kaine subsequent to Tarkin's death. Flagship of Kaine's Pentastar Alignment Imperial faction at a time approximately three years after the Emperor's death. Terror Admiral Sarn's command ship appearing in the Rebel Assault II computer game, some time before the Battle of Endor. It’s history is pretty much unknown. Vengeance Commanded by Admiral Senn in Airam sector sometime between the battles of Hoth and Endor. It’s fate is unknown. Mandator-Class: Mandator Apparently one of the top line star dreadnoughts in the wealthy and well defended shipbuilding Kuat Sector at the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Supposedly it’s big enough to be included as a Super Star Destroyer, but little is known of it. Sovereign-Class: Sovereign First of atleast 4 Sovereign-Class ships built 6 years after Endor, but was never finished. Unknown reason why not. Autarch One of atleast 4 Sovereign-Class ships built 6 years after Endor. Nothing is really known of it. Despot One of atleast 4 Sovereign-Class ships built 6 years after Endor. Nothing is really known of it. Hereshiarch One of atleast 4 Sovereign-Class ships built 6 years after Endor. Nothing is really known of it. That's about all I know (some I re-learned about and a few I learned about ) Q: I'll come back to the question, I kinda suck at them, and have to leave for work right now. I'll think up a good, but not too hard one.
Astrotoy7
OMG ! Great Answer Jan Do you own the "Essential Guide to Vehicles" anyways. if you cant fathom a question just say you'll leave it open to someone else.... I hope you do come up with a question, theyre pretty challenging. I find them hard to answer as they are from souurcebooks and the likes, whereas my expertise only extends as far as the novels/comix.... *hugs CUSWE 6.2* mtfbwya
