Ray Jones Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 Living my new flat now, I had to recognize I'm surrounded by female neighbours with - err -- lots of female friends. ^^; On the other hand, yes of course, if you have a family and such, a house and garden are something very useful. I think I'll keep that in mind for later. :]
Rogue15 Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 i love my apartment. it's a two-story house, the top half is mine. XD my land lords are awesome. there's only one house next to us, but i never see or hear those neighbors. the only downside is not being able to turn music up, and there isn't any broadband available in this area. my landlords pay the heating bill as well. someone up above must be looking out for me.
Rebel Loyaltist Posted October 24, 2005 Author Posted October 24, 2005 Of college, people, I like it because I can do well here, unlike other established institutions of learning.
Rogue Nine Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I wish Zoomie and guildy would show up, even once in a while. I miss them. :/
Keyan Farlander Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Well, look on the bright side - at least we got a visit from GUNNER recently.
Rebel Loyaltist Posted October 25, 2005 Author Posted October 25, 2005 Now we just need some old schoolers that have like, fallen off the face of the Earth.
edlib Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 It always makes me wonder what happens to people when they just stop posting. (Speaking of which: just where the hell is Nitro these days?) I mean... do you suddenly wake up one day and say to yourself: "Well, I've been posting here everyday for several years; but now I think I'm just going to stop, with no explanation." It's not like you can't get fairly cheap internet access almost anywhere in the world these days. It can hardly be used as an excuse anymore. On the other hand, there was another forum I was fairly active on a couple of years ago on that I almost never visit anymore, not even to lurk... even though it's still my IE home page. So I guess I'm not really one to talk. Everyone there probably wonders what happened to me... P.S.: While we are on the subject: Didn't Zoom just post over at RSN... or was that a just personal delusion brought on by my not getting enough sleep recently? If so, then it seems that Nute might have conjuring abilities far stronger than any of us previously suspected.
Ray Jones Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Is that the smell of split personalities? Hmm. -- However. -- It is not us.
edlib Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Is that the smell of split personalities? Yes and no. That is I mean to say: You are absolutely correct in the sense that you couldn't be more wrong.
Rogue15 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 today has been good so far. i didn't have to work at pizza hut so i went to the state gamelands and walked in the woods a bit. almost sat on a ****ing huge spider, and then i moved to a different part after sitting down for 30 minutes, and a bunch of ticks fell on my shirt. -_- my right knee is all ****ed up, it feels like the kneecap is trying to pop all the way out. that glucosamine sulfate isn't doing the trick i guess. i have to leave for walmart in a few minutes. Working there is getting easier. I get along with everybody, except the customers and their damn copyrighted pictures.
Ikhnaton Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 what do you mean copyrighted pictures? are you trying to get copies of pictures of hot chicks or something?
Nute Gunray Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 If so, then it seems that Nute might have conjuring abilities far stronger than any of us previously suspected. You know i have been doing a lot better at picking winners this football season...
edlib Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I think it's the influence of your Avatar. A little magic can go a long way! (Ugh,.. I can't believe I just said that. Sounds like something out of a bad 80's cartoon like Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake or something. Exactly the kind of treacly sentiment that generally makes me physically ill when I am exposed.) But so far it seems like it's just the single post by Zoomie. I hope this isn't a case of someone managing to access his account to make a post to get all our hopes up. If that turns out to be the case, heads will roll and bodies will be broken! The dogs of war will be unleashed,.. and so on.
Rogue15 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 no, people bring in pictures from like 1914 that were taken by professional photographers, and don't have a copyright release form from the artist, so we're like 'sorry, we are not allowed to sell that' and the customers get all pissed off and try to convince us that it's ok. as for hot chicks...occassionally there are some "inappropriate" pictures that we must shred. unfortunatally, most of the inappropriateness ends up being some guy's balls or asscrack. i only recall seeing one pic of a chick, topless and underwater. taken with one of those underwater disposable.
Nute Gunray Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I think it's the influence of your Avatar. A little magic can go a long way! (Ugh,.. I can't believe I just said that. Sounds like something out of a bad 80's cartoon like Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake or something. Exactly the kind of treacly sentiment that generally makes me physically ill when I am exposed.) Maybe if I'd been saying "Enneh kcas!" or "Ssap taht tcelfed!" Penn State would be going to the Rose Bowl this year instead of having total heartbreaker of a loss to Michigan to ruin my final season in the student section.
Rogue15 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I just beat Ghost Recon 2!!!!!!! sweet game, waiting for a price drop on Summit Strike now. XD
Rogue15 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 *bump* I bought Chaos Theory. now i have to work. -_- i hate working at pizza hut.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 City of Villains. Nothing else to add. ^^
edlib Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 We need to break 1000 posts in this thread. I don't know why we do,.. but that goal has just become my new purpose in life. Shouldn't be hard: we are at 922 now, with still 2 months left. But just to be safe: Everybody post to this thread more!
Keyan Farlander Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 OK. So today I...did some stuff. Last night was Halloween, did some stuff then, too. Well, not really. Um... Man, my life is exciting :|
Ray Jones Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 °___° Boah, time just passes by. Creepy. And if someone had told me how I would feel today, I'd told him to piss off. I'm not sure if I really like my 'new' life. Though my girl has given us kind of another try after she got kind of jealous because she kind of recognised that other girls are checking me out. But I miss the trust I had in us. I miss our old flat. I'm not really sure what I am going to do nor what I want to. "Freedom, it leaves me so confined."
Rogue15 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 w007 just got the double pack of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. XD comes w/story of star wars. gonna watch it later w/some pizza. XD earlier today i went squirrel hunting, maneuvered my way up a mountain, took me like 45 minutes cause of all those damn thorns, then i got on top of one of the rocks there and sat for like 90 minutes. i saw some turkeys, they look ****in hilarious when they fly! heard maybe one squirrel or it was one of those annoying birds. i didn't fire a shot. then on the way back home, i stopped into walmart and got the rots dvd. next im gonna see if my friend wants to target shoot for a bit, if not, i'm going to play Chaos Theory. Chaos Theory is sweet, not like that pandora tomorrow. that 'OMG ONE MORE ALARM AND THE MISSION OVER' **** is gone, so it's much better now. I'm going to help my dad move furniture up on saturday. That's gonna be fun. -_- esp that big tv. that must be liek 150 pounds, and a pain to find a grip to lift it. now i gotta save my money for an xbox 360! ghost recon warfighter looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
