JeeMonkey Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 help.....ive been playing the same game for far too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i need a new computer game, one that is either an RPG like JA or is an adventure game like Myst (only better) i would preferably like the game to be no more than 3 months old.......OR no more than 2 months away from being released. also it has to be a game that people will still want to keep playing even after it has been replaced by another game. IVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND FOUND NOTHING..... HELP ME!!!!! DONT MAKE ME BUY THE SIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm personally interested in A Vampyre Story and Dreamfall, but those aren't out till Q4. RPGs: Check out http://www.rpgplanet.com/ I'm just waiting for KotOR II, then NWN2 and Oblivion. But those last two are a long way away.

If you don't want to follow them, you must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. Anyways, if you liked JA, you'll probably like FPS games like Half-Life 2 or Doom 3. You can try Deus Ex: Invisible War, but it is too short and too old. KOTORII is the best bet, though. You can also go for Dungeon Siege II releasing somewhere around KOTORII. Oh, and Jedi Academy is termed as a First-Person Shooter or simply 'Action' game. Games like Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Icewind Dale etc. are RPGs.

It's a classic RPG, and you'll understand KOTOR2 better if you play the first in the series first. You can get very low prices on computer games at http://www.pricegrabber.com (just use the Search function.)

Mayber earlier, and is still played today, 7 years later! Why would you think JKA is an RPG?! Why would the websites think JA is an RPG... I have never heard it refered to as an RPG... ever. Except of course, there are some who try to play it as an RPG, but we won't get into that.

Now then, as for games: I like the Jedi Knight games, Splinter Cell, and I haven't played it but I hear that KotOR rocks. If you like racing games Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 and Underground are both very good.
