Astrotoy7
hmm...is it possible for a sw game actually based on a movie to be good...we'll have to wait and see *shivers when thinking of TPM* mtfbwya

Where not everyone has a broadband connection therefore to have reasonable speed for all people, you tend to have to shrink things down. This often means frames get cut to lower sizes. Great stuff Siv.

toms
I don't think it is going to be any sort of classic... looks like your standard movie-conversion bash em up to me. But at least the graphics have improved since the days of TPM. Wonder if it will be like the EA LOTR games? Still, can't say i have any big interest in it so far... jon_hill987
Bring on the next dark forces game I say, lets have Jedi Knight III. It could use the serious sam 2 engine (when it comes out), then you could have proper physics with your force powers.
toms
I'm quite happy for them to keep producing these mass market tie-ins to make money... as lng as they keep doing some "real" games for the rest of us. As for another DF game... i have to say i think the DF plot is about tapped out. Not sure where i would go from here... but i think they need to sit down with a blank bit of paper and come out with something as new as the original DF and JK games were at the time. Either a new timeline, a new character or a new approach. I guess adding physis to force powers could extend the series for a bit, but just having a retread of JO/JA with better physics isn't going to win any awards from me. New character based around the Tie Fighter/Thrawn Trilogy settings with Deus Ex style openendedness and deep RPG elements might do it for me. I hope this turns out to be good, rather than end up like the Obi-Wan game for the Xbox. *Shudder*
