:p it's a cartoon series that covers some of the events between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The first 20 episodes were 3 minutes long each. And as much as some people like to whine about that, it's still an hour of CW action. These last 5 episodes will be 12 minutes each.

So that in between the movies, we get a whole 'movie' of animated action.

It's hella good. :D

Ah, so the **** that Lucas left out because he had to shoot Natalie Portman in that titty vixen outfit that made her constipated, and because he just had to shoot Hayden Christensen being emotional, which is the WORST thing you can ask of the man, is explained in this?

Cool. I may have to check it out.

Thanks peeps :)

Just a reminder, that Season 3 of the Clone Wars contains Episode III Spoilers.

Specifically confirmed is that the details of the entire opening crawl of ROTS will be revealed (the events it describes, leading up to the beginning of the movie).

As such please give warnings (and spoiler tags) for anything from it you post in the forums.

As to the post starter, I was under the impression that the Clone Wars Season 3 (I assumed that was what you were referring to, since Season 1 & 2 are on the DVD and have already aired) wasn't going to be shown until two days AFTER ROTS premiered in theaters...

Edit: Got this from epguides.com:

Season 3

21. 3- 1 21 Mar 05 XXI

22. 3- 2 22 May 05 XXII

23. 3- 3 23 May 05 XXIII

24. 3- 4 24 May 05 XXIV

25. 3- 5 25 May 05 XXV

Okay, so it begins tomorrow, but if those dates are correct it won't finish up until after ROTS has been out. Though it could be those other dates are preliminary. They wait a whole month after the first episode then show the rest in rapid succession. Though for building movie hype that might make sense.

The final episode of Season 2 does have one character spoiler for ROTS in it, and I'm sure many can guess what character that is, but I won't post it here.

Even though Astro laughed at me last time, I still stand by my statement:

Are people not going to watch Episoode 3 because of the spoilers?

Clone Wars is part of star wars, it's a part of the official site, it's an official release. If you watch it, sure you'll learn new things, but that's when George Lucas intended everyone to experience them. According to George Lucas, everyone should've watched the first clone wars series, everyone should watch the next clone wars series, and everyone should already know about "the general" by now. Same goes with the trailer. Get what i'm saying?

Maybe they cancelled it due to lack of interest by viewers... :(

... It won a freaking emmy. No way they'd cancel it, especially since it's Star Wars, any company would love to rake is some money from that cash cow.

*edit* gyar, getting tired had to fix a typo.

Nobody here in India seems to like it, let alone understand it. Not many into Star Wars here.

You can always get the dvd when that comes out I suppose. >_>

Yep, CN India has it's own. More here:

They take all the successful shows and dump them here. Personally, I think that all they just ignore the good shows and bring in the bad.

I'll go look for the DVD sometime later, I suppose.

But he's in clone wars, and clone wars is a legitimate source. It's held in the same grounds as the movies, maybe not by you. But by Lucas, it is. Therefore he's not just an Episode III character, but a character we met in Clone Wars that is being featured in Episode III.

*edit* People were/are supposed to see Clone Wars before they go into ROTS. It's how it's set up.

if you go to http://www.theforce.net you can get a summery of the first episode.

Sounds good.

this, i believe, is how it works...

the show first airs on cartoon network, the following day hyperspace members can watch it online. then the following day non-hyperspace can watch it. i'm not sure how long you have to wait until you can see it on http://www.cartoonnetwork.com i assume it will be the same day as http://www.starwars.com for non-hyperspace.
