ET Warrior
I laugh at this thread, since you posed the question for OUR opinion on an MP3 player.... and you picked an MP3 player that NOBODY here recommended, in addition to the headphones that nobody recommended

Samuel Dravis
Since it's about mp3 players, anyone have any experience with the Archos Gmini 400 or the iRiver H320? My worthless player's headphone jack came loose inside it, but fortunately I was able to return it and get my money back even though the warranty had expired (I love Wal-Mart). toms
The gmini 400 looks pretty cool. I only played with it for a short while in a shop, but i liked it. Not sure the games are worth much, but i guess they could pass a bit of time if you are bored. Felt solid. Screen was nice and video clips looked pretty good. (though obviously not up to PSP standards). Archos User interfaces are, erm, unique. They allow you to make playlists, update the library and delete/rename files on the go.... which can be very handy. But their "double browser" is a little unintuitive (though powerful once you learn it) and scrolling through long lists without a wheel or touchpad can be slow. I have a gmini XS200 which a similar mp3 player to the gmini 400 but without the colour screen, video and game capabilites. I like it. Got good reviews when released. If they had only had a 30gb or 40gb gmini 400 i'd have got one of those, but I didn't think 20gb was big enough for music, games AND video. So in the end i decided to concentrate on portability and music and go for the XS200.

El Sitherino
Have fun with your Dell, better save up to buy a new MP3 player after it screws up within a week.

TiE23
Why? Why did it have to be a Dell? It got a 7.3 on CNET http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_Pocket_DJ_5GB/4505-6490_7-31149192.html When the Zen Micro got a 8.3! http://reviews.cnet.com/Creative_Zen_Micro_5GB_black/4505-6490_7-31151919.html Why? (EDIT: Look at the video for the Zen, the guy said 8.7, I dont know if that was a mistake by him or they have't changed their site yet.) No, I don't wear a tutu... Edit- Oh yeah, the 457 would be better afterall. I thought it would be the same size as the HD 555. Stupid me.
