bhanlon7
I am working on a Lando head. Here is a screen of what I've got so far: http://img56.exs.cx/img56/8350/billydee7uc.jpg On the left is the head I used as a base, and on the right is the Lando head. Any suggestions? General Kenobi
Looking pretty good so far man. I'd suggest maybe toning up his skin tone to a lighter shade and maybe a little bit of a red hue to it to match what I could tell from the real Lando in the icon. Looks good though. I always loved Lando and Billy was the perfect man to play him. He was Han Solo with a better business head and a bit more slick with the ladies. TheProphet
Maybe if you use the replacer tool to move the verticies on the hair and make the hair a bit bigger you can get it perfect. Looking good on the face though.

Looking good on the face though. I have absolutely no clue how to do that. I can't export anything in gmax/nwmax. When I try, either I get an error that says I failed a sanity check(I don't know what that is), or it appears as if something happened, but the folder I exported to is empty. TheProphet
You need mdlops to convert it into an acsii model. Otherwise you will get the sanity check. Lol, kinda sounds wierd, makes me think of Windex, anyway, get yourself that tool and export the mdx. and mdl. and convert it to a .acsii and then you can use NWNMax to import the model. The rest of the tutorial is there. After that your golden.
Jeff
I agree with everyone's suggestions of making the hair bigger. It's looking good so far, there isn't too much to be done to it since its not like the obi-wan head, you don't have to deal with those wrinkles and stuff. Darkkender
I am eager for the completion and release of this. Since you have been so dedicated to the creation of Original movie heads. Is there anyway I can convince you to make Luke, Han & Leia.

I have read the tutorials and I am still lost. I can get the head into gmax/nwmax, but after I edit it, I can't export it.

I would love to get the han solo head, you have done such an awesome job with the ones you've completed so far. bhanlon7
I know that it would look better if I changed the model a bit, but I decided to upload it as is: http://www.pcgamemods.com/11589/
Jeff
I think it looks fine the way it is. Keep up the good work, I love all your movie heads.
Malivolus
If you still have problems exporting the model from gmax, here's what you have to do: select AuroraBase (that's the blue square the head is tanding on), go to modify panel (icon that looks like blue rainbow), type in your export directory and click export. Afterwards use MDLOps to convert the model from ascii to binary. Thats all there is to it
