Darth333
Did this quick fix after seeing some questions popping up on the swk boards today: ============================================== Telos academy dlg fix ============================================== By Darth333 (05-16-2005) Corrects a bug introduced in the handmaiden.dlg file with patch 1.0b : when entering the the Telos academy for the first time and asked to "lay down your weapons" the conversation would stop if the dialogue option "All right, we mean no harm" (reply 464) is chosen. When the player would then try to initiate conversation with Atton he would get the following options: 1. [Cheat Node] Jump to the PC confrontation with Atris. 2. [Cheat Node] Continue with Kreia Conversation. ...which is not what we want The present fix will now lead you to the correct cutscene. Download here ============================================== INSTALLATION: ============================================== 1. If you haven't already, create a new folder called Override in your C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2 directory. 2. Extract the handmaiden.dlg file to your override directory. Uninstall: Delete the handmaiden.dlg file from your override directory Enjoy! Want to learn modding Kotor and TSL? Emperor Devon
Useful fix, Darth333. I'll download it when I can. It's sad how modders have to make mods like this.

It's not sad it's a fact of the gaming industry. We should all be glad that we have as easy of access as we do to the various game resources so those that play the games in the here and now can have these fixes without waiting months or even a year or more before we get a bug fix patch. I for one am glad that Darth333 has done this even if it is crossover with the Restoration project. However the constant derision of a game company for not having this fixed properly due to time constraints imposed by a higher organization, is becoming a bit overkill. Darth333 Thank You for your diligence to the community.

Sorry, I don't visit the restoration project website as I don't play the game anymore for now and apart some stuff I'm finishing for the USM project I can say I am retired from modding so I didn't know about that fix I did this very quickly and very late in the evening after seeing some questions on the boards. Wasn't sure if it was the same thing or something different. Sorry to hear that you're considering hanging up the spurs, but you've done more than your fair share for the game and the community. I guess that frees you up for more banning
