Kjølen
Pick and tell. I personally could survive on getting Xbox 360 simply for Halo 3, but when you compare them, they all look pretty cool. If I get enough money, I'll trade in some old Nintendo and Xbox systems for the new ones considering Nintendo's backwards compatibility. Discuss. edlib
Dunno. I'll wait for final specs, titles (and prices!!!!) to be announced, but right now the PS3 does look the most promising to me. That is if I bother to go for any of them...
Alien426
I won't buy any of them and think it's a bad idea to buy one from the start anyways. Let's face it: They are expensive, there are not many games, you can't tell which system will have the best technology and games, the games aren't optimized for the system. I'd wait if I were you. DrMcCoy
...None... I never really cared for consoles... No keyboard, no vim and gcc, no upgrading... Pff...
Joshi
I'm not really a console kind of person, but if I had to choose, It'd be the PS3, just to see the amazing graphics that can be handeled on the new cell chip. Funny story about the x-box 360 and halo 3, my friend bought an x-box just before christmas last year for the sole purpose of playing halo2 when it came out. he's bought one other game for it since and didn't like it. Now he's p*ssed because he has to buy a 360 just so he can play halo 3. I find that funny.
simonmhutchins
that makes Halo a very expensive game. Then the Xbox has always suffered with a poor catalogue compared to the ps2 - I expect that will continue despite MS best efforts to talk it up. Fender
Whichever one lets me play Final Fantasy for the least amount of money, but I won't get it for a year or two after they come out. I need money for the summer, not consoles which will just sit gathering dust apart from late at night after work.

Alien426
... except for the Xbox, which I checked just minutes ago to use it as an argument like you. I only found 2 emulators that could barely run individual games. CxBx seems to be good for Turok Evolution and Xeon for Halo.
Skinkie
I've made it my whole life with nothing but a PC, I'm content. Any console games I feel like playing my friends buy, and for some reason I tend to be better at them than they are.
JofaGuht
I'm going to go to an alternate universe where Sega is still making consoles.
elTee
Gaming has gone down the pan. Being as there are now about three games in every five years that are worth getting, I'm not saving up for any new consoles. Don't tell me I'm wrong, because I know how everyone else feels about gaming... just ignore my post.

PoM
Ehm.. N-Revolution. Because... Every nintendo game seems to include awesome, ironic, unexpected and hilarious jokes. Nice story too and music too.
