tylerjk
OK. If I get enough people that want me to I will lead this project and start work right away and assign different people with different tasks. I have some Ideas first though, I thought it would be cool if you could either save the promised land or destroy it! When you lead the outcasts to it there starts a war against ppl who want the promised land for them selves and not to share it and the good ppl and you can choose to side with either side and you can give the promised land to the greedy ppl or save it. And just to let you know I have been working already I have a new module built and have it atached to the game already and some scripts so... Jeff
@Bubonous The Promised Land Journals from Rukil's apprentice contradict your ideas. They had the directions to the promised land between them, so I think one of them would have noticed that it was a weapons factory Sorry if I put down your idea

tylerjk
Well we need to decide on an Idea so that this thing can start moving forward. Rukil said the colony was designed so that anyone could enter... But could not leave. He did not say that you couldn't go to the entrance, though. and we can perfect the Ideas some more after we decide on a general Idea.

I vote for Bubonous idea, but for some REAL darkside points you could be able to destroy the promised land . The only catch is it kinda takes away from the feeling of the game if you are able to go full light side or dark side on the first planet
RevanA4
I've got an idea actually um it is a rouge jedi hide out kinda like a bunch of bindo's that have deditcated there lives to solitude and there reason no one comes back out is because they keep them there NOT AS SLAVES OR PRISONERS so they can remain hidden when you take the out casts there they will sense that the force is stronge with you and train you in the basic jedi arts like the use of a lightsaber and I can script it so you will reseave the feats at that point then they say you are to important to keep here(this is all done in a secure room) but they let you stay as long as you want intil you leave we can have placeables lying around the area that you get to pic up saber crystals and maybe some custom saber and weapons once you are ready to leave on of the jedi will escort you back to the sewers and you continue on from there. No offense, but that sounds utterly stupid. If you do that then what is the point of Dantooine? Whats the point of meeting with the council and becoming a jedi? Whats the point fo the whole game?! *The_Maker thinks about quitting due to tottally whacked ideas
RevanA4
^^^^ if you think about it it actually makes since because after you rescue bastila you are constanly told in one way or another that you have foce potentila and you WOULDN'T get force powers at that point it actually makes more since than anybody else's idea and fit with what rukil has to say about it and I thought that the point of this mod was to make it so you can go to the promise land not just to the entrance and turn around and remember I said basic jedi skill what is more basic of a jedi than lightsaber skill even luke got trained in the use of a lightsaber first and YOU WOULD only get the exotic weapons profincey and the jedi defense and not have access to the higher feats

RevanA4
quiet simply put I confuse alot of people(including my self sometimes;) ) um in the movies the younglings learn lightsaber skills first so since you are ex darth revan any way (if you haven't beat the game plz don't highlight) and there are already mods that you start as a jedi if my idea gets chosen then your character should be trained to use a lightsaber and everyone emplies you are force sensitive or out right say you are strong in the force why not hint at it earlier

E.g. like dueling with the handmaiden in TSL. You fight up through 3-4 teirs then you can gain a feat like lightsaber mastery or something. (Although I do not know how you could do that seeing as how its restricted to jedi-only classes )
RevanA4
ok yeah adding the feat I can use a script but you can get crystals to make special lightsabers when you get to that point;)

Boxah
OK, I have a few screenshots of some skins I've done. Can't find any good ones with hair, so just showing two bald characters. ^ Very dark side, reskinned one of the PC heads. ^ If Gadon was white, young and beardless Could I be of use or have you already got enough people doing skins? Sorry for the poor quality of the screenshots.

tylerjk
OK, I will lead. First I need to see a list off everyone who is helping. So far that I know have not quit is me and boxah. Jedigoku can you still help with scripting? Cause I can't scrip except just a little bit. And boxah those skins look great except I think that the nose on the second 1 looks very lage also. So every one that is helping I need to know, after that the ones that are helping can decide on a story line, that I will post in a new thread so everyone can be reminded of it while working on the mod. I think that the promised land should be exactly how the outcasts describe it. I also think that it would be a cool Idea if there is a jedi there that is like jolee like jedigoku described and he can teach you some with a saber. that would be combining two ideas that seem like the best. The_Maker
I am pretty sure I am still helping, that is unless there are a lot more whacked out and totally useless ideas...
