Acrylic
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050802/ap_on_he_me/brain_dead_pregnancy All I have to say is "WTF!" I've heard of people dying after childbirth, but never giving birth after they're dead....
Tyrion
That's wonderful. Not that the mother is dead, but that the baby survived the birth.

TiE23
Can kids be that light? I mean, I don't know much, but it sounds like 1 pound sounds way to light. Will the baby be okay? I hope they both turn out great, cause it would suck to grow up without your mom. TiE

Of course it'll take quite a bit for her to be okay, but they can survive at extremely low weight. Plus it said the she was 1 pound 13 ounces, so she's almost two pounds. The human body is absolutely amazing. Women can be struck by lightning and be in a severe coma, yet their body can still deliver the baby when it needs to. Incredible, eh? I heard about this when she was at the 24 week mark. I'm glad they've made it through this far, and hope that they keep doing well.

Acrylic
uh, thats really old news Taken from yahoo.com, it says "Tue Aug 2, 7:23 PM ET". And judging by how not many people heard of this, I wouldn't say it's old. And if you don't have anything useful to contribute to this thread, don't post in it. Kthxbai.
