Leviathan Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Quote It's true that Palpatine could strike down Jedi masters like Kit Fitso in 2 seconds[...] Kit Fisto took part in the Battle of Geonosis, and has come back alive from there... He resisted during several hours against an entire army of Droids, and only some seconds against Palpatine !... How do you explain that ?
TK-8252 Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Uhhh fighting some lousy droids ain't exactly as hard as facing the most powerful Sith Lord in the galaxy (probably the most powerful man in the galaxy too).
TK-8252 Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Yeah, especially when your clone army has thousands too, in addition to aerial support.
Darth Alec Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Its gotta be Obi-General Grievous. I just didnt like the Vader-Obi battle. Four swords rule!
Jeff Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Darth Alec said: Its gotta be Obi-General Grievous. That was the lamest lightsaber fight in the movie.
McCusto Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 I agree. It was way too short, and Grievous got his ass wopped way to easily. 2 hits and he lost a hand, another 2 hits and he lost another. Then he ran, and got killed by a Blaster. That doesn't sound like the General Grievous in the Clone Wars Cartoons!
TK-8252 Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 McCusto said: That doesn't sound like the General Grievous in the Clone Wars Cartoons! Yeah, it doesn't... because he got his lungs crushed at the end of Clone Wars.
Darth Damstrak Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 LOL!, but still, Grievous had FOUR SABERS! He just looked really cool. The best though, was Sidious v. Yoda. "At an end, your rule is."
DarthTDe Posted August 12, 2005 Author Posted August 12, 2005 That Quote will be in my mind forever.Right behind the one in my Sig.

Leviathan Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Quote Yeah, especially when your clone army has thousands too, in addition to aerial support. 192,000 Clones, if I remember well...
Prime Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Darth Damstrak said: The best though, was Sidious v. Yoda. "At an end, your rule is."Too bad he could not have been more incorrect.
DarthTDe Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 But then the Star Wars Universe mainly would have ended there!
Lord Bane Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 You know what's funny?: Ep. IV,V,VI=Single saber, Ep. I=Staff, or double or whatever, Ep. II=Dual sabers, Ep. III=Quad Sabers..... What next? lightsaber nunchucks?
CapNColostomy Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Nothing funny about that at all. It seems pretty evident to me that in wiping out the Jedi, and any trace of them, that there might also be a sudden shortage of lightsabers...
Bastila Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Its got be Anakin Vs Obi Wan it was amazing as soon as they started i was like wow at how fast they went and the fighting on the moving platforms as well it was the best ever.
DarthTDe Posted August 15, 2005 Author Posted August 15, 2005 I liked it when they fought on the balcony, and platforms.

If hes so powerful then how come all anakin (or Vader depending on how you think of it) had to do in ROTJ was pick him up and throw him down some shaft, Sidious could have killed him the second anakin (or Vader) picked him up. And even thought the battle droids are badly constructed I doubt Mace could have taken them all on, by himself yet he was able to take Sidious by himself.
Leviathan Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Anyway, many Jedi were killed on Geonosis, even if C.I.S. droids weren't of an exceptional quality... They were just too numerous for the "Guardians of Peace and Justice"... By the way, those droids were more than 1.000.000 ! And Jedi were about 200...

Same reason why the Clone Troopers could easily gun down the Jedi - the element of suprise. I suppose you haven't watched the Clone Wars cartoons.
