So how many Swampies purchase action figures?

Do you leave them in packages or take em out and play?

Do you have any pictures to share of your loot?

 

I dug out some of my gundams to display around and I got bored and did a little scene up of the jedi betrayal.

I have a bunch more action figures in storage with absolutely no place to put them, so right now it's the gundams I dug out and my RoTS figures.

 

PS: the Gundams are 1:100 Master Grades. I'm thinking of getting a Perfect Grade Mark II Gundam.

The 3 on the left are figures my sister got me from japan. Peach used to have an umbrella but it broke so now it's like a lightsaber or something. The kirby is from a keychain my sister had.

Most of my action figures aren't displayed at the moment, I HAD a room full of Star Wars, but my bitchy sister moved into there, so, right now I just have all my ROTS figures on a shelf above my bed.

Heres my two rooms from May, I have a few more ROTS figures, and nothing is in the SW room anymore (We were gonna paint it black to make it look space-like), but besides that this is pretty much how things are now

I hope to get a new wallpaper soon, this was my room when I was like 5 and I turned it into a Star Wars Room. Just started about 2 weeks ago, so still pretty empty.

Over the years, I've collected tons of stuff. The three things that seem to never get packed away and keep growing and growing are my SW collection, Indy collection, and my Planet of the Apes collection. Speaking of which, I forgot to show off that collection

 

Vintage '70s Megos

Sideshow Collectibles (very limited stuff, especially the second shelf which is sequel guys; I've gotten General Ursus since than and am still expecting Cornelius's son Caesar and two mutants)

The top shelf, Hasbro crap, is seriously worth nothing because of the Sideshows and Medicoms on the bottom shelf. The Medicoms are Japanese imports, very rare. Mine are out of the packaging, yes, but much cooler that way

And the rest of the Hasbro crap. I got these before the movie was released, leave me alone

Hahaha, nice...my the dude that I get my comics and other things from would love your Planet of the Apes Mego collection. He collects all kinds of the old Mego stuff. I am still working on getting my pics up. Im kinda moving things around now, due to this thread. So LOL! Ill have something up soon, I promise!

Ahh... I now feel so very, very old.

 

I have a bunch of action figures and vehicles. None are on display. All are in storage. All were made by Kenner, and the last time I bought one was in 1983.

 

None are in the original packages. Most (except the very later ROTJ stuff) were played with.

 

I was a kid at the time... so sue me. Nobody ever thought people would actually collect these things.

 

I could never bring myself to throw them away though. Someday I might take them all out, clean them all up, take photos, and go for the eBay bonanza talked about earlier in the thread.

Me and Katarn played with ours. And I think we knew they'd be collectors items, but when you're a kid you don't care about that.

 

I got my use out of them, I'm happy and have no regrets.

man, i ahve a crapload of action figures! but no digital camera. damn.

But see the thing with my toys are...well i used to carve up thier faces and make red marks to make it look like they are bleeding. So i got Akbar with 3 huge scratches across his torso looking like he got attacked by some tiger thing. And other figures have suffered the same fate.
