Dantooine!

Not sure how many people have found this, but there is a video of Dantooine in Battlefront II Here There is also footage of a new Kashyyyk map

Uh that "Dantooine" map bares a striking resemblance to Yavin, does it not?

 

Nice new Kashyyyk map though. If you look carefully in the sky you can see a Wookiee Catamaran flying.

Well there not really new, but on that site the videos are of much better quality, I noticed alot of stuff in the Kshyyyk video I didn't notice the first time I saw it like the Droid Gunship and Wookiee catamaran. I wish they had added vehicles that were actually in the movie instead of the clone tanks though, like maybe the AT-AP or the swamp speeder...

well if you've played they first game you should see that the trailer is yavin.. anyways they maybe write wrong or something..

I have had the game since the first day it came out. Yes, I knew it looked like the Yavin map, but to me it looked a bit lighter :/ . They probably did write the name wrong, or LucasArts is screwing us over and adding the same exact copy of a map just brighter

The fact you've not seen a swamp speeder does not mean it won't be included in the final release of SWBF II...

And yeah that is sooo Yavin 4, but it says Dantooine.? Who cares it looks awsome anyway! Also whay do they call Geonosis "Desert Battle" ??? Strange very strange.

The videos on that site are of good quality, but they didn't name them very well, they called Yavin Dantooine, Geonosis "Desert Battle" and Polis Mesa "space station"

The Kasyyyk map looks very impersive, as well as Space Battle above Corascant. I can't wait to fly the ARC-170!!!!!!!!!

I think he knows that. He means he can't wait to fly an Arc-170. Meaning he is excited that he can fly one

Anyway, the fact that it is called Dantooine is probably just a typo. Or someone was hoping against hope that it would not be the same old yavin. However, I get the feeling that they are going to be re using alot of the old maps un changed (except for maybe a few graphical upgrades) just so that they can say; "Hey we have twenty something maps in this game" When only twelve or so are actually new.
