"ArC..." Riebe said, but ArC cut her off.

"You don't need to say another word." The image of Riebe faded and ArC turned to Roma. "Follow me."

She led him back to the place she had first joined the group. The ship was still there and ArC walked straight up to it. The cockpit opened and revealed two seats.

"Riebe didn't think she'd need the second seat," ArC said. "But she's glad she didn't remove it... get in."

"They moved on, remember?" ArC answered. "I led all of you through the hole over there..." she pointed to the hole that she'd made in the wall. "I took you from the room at the top of that. We took a different route back here."

She powered the ship and lifted off.

"You're lucky, you know," she said as they flew out of the room and up into the upper levels of Coruscant. "If you hadn't mentioned whatever it is you're returning to Riebe, you'd have to wait patiently with the rest of the group. Believe me when I say that it'll take them a couple of days to realize that Riebe isn't on Coruscant. After that, it'll take about a week to discover where she is and another day or so to get there. When they manage to get there, they still have to find her."

"You're lucky in the fact that I know exactly where she is," she finished. "And you'll be getting to her long before the others even leave Coruscant."

The fighter sped up out of the atmosphere and away from Coruscant.

Nadira frowned and reached out with the Force to see if she could find Roma. She figured he had probably moved a little, making it so there was more space between him and Curt. Nadira's eyes snapped open in astonishment.

"He..." she gasped. "He's not here!"

"Who's not here?" Caitlin asked, overhearing.

"Roma!" Nadira exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Erica demanded.

"Roma's missing!" Nadira answered quickly. "He's... he's gone!"

"So's ArC," Caitlin muttered. With a frown, she turned to Craig in the darkness. "I really don't like this... Craig? The answer to the question? Let's get this over with quickly."

((Guys, I truly apologize for the delay. Things've been popping up in my life I wish I could do without. Today's day was a bit of a downer, but I'm going to try and pay more attention to the forum. I apologize, I've just had my mind in a dozen different places at once.))

Craig had sensed his disappearance as well, and felt quite a bit of another disturbance. "Riebe would pound her right arm against the nearest wall or table. It was mechanical, so it would leave a bigger impression." He answered. He was a bit more focused and irritable now, really wanting to get to the bottom of what was going on.

((Hey, man, that's fine. I understand that real life is much more important. That said, I'll slip back into fiction :p ))

"Correct," the AI answered. "A bit of Riebe trivia here... when there was no wall or table near her right hand, Riebe made a fist with that hand. Because she was right handed, she often found the need to repair her lightsaber... it kept getting crunched."

The lights came on and it was now visually obvious that Roma and ArC were no longer with them. Nadira sighed.

"I'm glad I didn't drop this datapad when ArC joined us," she said. "If I had, we'd have had to go back for it now that she's not here to guide us."

They followed the datapad's directions to the nearest door. A long hallway stretched out before them, but Nadira went to the first door on the right. It opened and she gave a little exclamation of surprise as she stepped through. They were now on the surface of Coruscant, many levels below civilization.

"Eyes open," Caitlin muttered, placing her right hand near her lightsaber to be ready for anything.

"Wake up," ArC said several hours later. She reached behind to shake Roma gently. "We're almost there."

She brought the fighter out of hyperspace and detached from the hyperspace ring (yes, it's older technology, but seeing how it's Riebe's ship, shouldn't it be? :p ). The planet before them appeared to be made up of mostly desert, but there was a small ring of hills that surrounded a city and not far from that, a small forrest could be seen.

"The Watchtower," ArC said. "Or as Riebe now prefers to call it, Gerv. We'll be meeting her in just about another hour."

ArC laughed. "No, no, there's no fortress here. If the paranoid rich man's worst fears were ever realized, the people of Gerv would vanish under the surface."

The fighter swept downward into the city and landed.

The group moved slowly now, keeping their eyes and ears open and their hands near their weapons.

"Really not liking this," Erica muttered.

"That makes two of us," Nadira whispered. Caitlin sighed. Why had Riebe wanted them to come down here?

"Craig," Caitlin whispered. "I think that, of all of us, you knew Riebe the best... can you think of any reason she might have wanted us to come down this far?"
