KOTOR IV: Zakonniye Sithov: The Lawful Sith

((If possible, I'd like for Kent, Falya, Tirya, and Wash to end up on the little ship Wash and Tirya came on... completely unharmed. Can we do that?))

Tirya stepped aside and Elron's blow hit only air. "Easy there, AngerMan," she quipped. "Can't you see I'm merely trying to carry on a conversation with my sister?"

Falya giggled. "Can't honestly say I thought anybody would ever dare to call Lord Elron 'AngerMan'..."

"Ah, excuse me..." Tirya chuckled. "Lord AngerMan."

Falya burst into uncontrollable giggles.

Elron brought one of his blades down, easily catching the blue blade.

"Aye, but that was the old order. One of hatred and one that thirsted only for total dominance. We are the Lawful Sith." he pointed out, spinning his saber and bringing the top blade down, again striking out at the Jedi, "Our order is the new order. One built on love and passion. We do not seek power, only to route out the weakness of the Jedi!" he said. Slashing again, he knocked Wash's saber out of the way slightly, giving him enough room to plant a foot firmly in his gut, throwing him to the floor several feet away, gasping for breath.

"As for you," he said, turning to Tirya, "You dared to insult me. And for that, you must pay the consequences." He slammed his saber blade down hard on Tirya's, repeatedly striking, over and over again, each time with renewed vigor, driving her farther and farther back. Eventually, he lashed out with a round-house kick, catching her in the side and knocking her into the wall. He put his arm out, lightining beginning to dart around his finger tips.

"You know nothing of the power of anger."

Tirya grunted and stared across the room. She stood and found Falya staring at her with a strange look on her face. The sisters' eyes met and Falya appeared to be immoble. Tirya on the other hand glanced toward where she'd seen Syscha... and then to the connection back to the little ship she and Wash had come on.

((So are we going to put JM and my characters on the smaller ship? If so, it had better be before Elron beats the crap out of them :) ))

((Hold up, what are you planning, WildJedi? I'm a bit lost...so the four of them escape onto the Jedi ship? But about the 'completely unharmed' thing...I don't know about 'completely'...))

Instantly, Elron forced Tirya against the wall, using Stasis, then whirled on Wash, releasing the pent up lightining he had stored up on the man. The white-hot beams flew directly into the man's body, who was taken by surprise. He struggled to bring his saber up to stop the onslaught. Eventually, he did, and the electricity rebounded on Elron. The Dark Lord sidestepped, ended the flow of power, and immediatly launched himself at the Jedi, using the opening his lightining had created in the Jedi's defenses before he recovered.

Just as the blow was about to strike, Wash side-stepped, but not in time. Elron's saber grazed his shoulder.

(OOC: Man, a lot has happened since I went to go have supper! *LOL*)

Tysyacha stood up carefully and ignited her double-bladed lightsaber.

Through the power of Force Sight, she could see which people had a

blue core--the misguided Jedi!--and those with a red-violet core, her

own people, the Lawful Sith, who would soon conquer. She stepped

forward, confronting everyone with a whirl of her blade.

"Who wants to die?", she asked. "I suspect no one, so please surrender

to us, Jedi Knights, and yield to our awesome power! I don't desire to

slaughter anyone, because I prefer allies to corpses." Her voice was soft.

((Be my guest... though it now seems that Syscha will be trying to stop you.))

Tirya struggled against the power of the stasis and it wasn't long before she was able to move again. She heard the pregnant woman speak, but did not hear her words. She spoke.

"It's true that anger is powerful," she told Elron. "But seriously... you might want to try an anger management session or two."

Tysyacha scoffed. "Ha!" She smiled her enigmatic, glossy grin at the

powerful Jedi female. "Know this...if you join us, my lady, then you

and 'Wash', as you call him, may marry and have children of your own

without being penalized for disobeying the ascetic and restrictive code

of the Jedi Order. That alone should tempt you, if not convince you."

"I won't deny the fact that I had thought of leaving the Jedi for Wash," Tirya admitted. "We've even spoken of it from time to time..." Then, she shook her head. "But our commitment to the Jedi means a lot to us."

"Just give in, Tirya," Falya begged. "It'll be easier."

"Anybody that ever said life was easy is trying to sell you something," Tirya answered with an amused grin.

Tysyacha stepped back. Was that the voice of Kreia, an echo in her ears?

"Kill her now, Exile. She has cemented her alliance, identifying herself

sacrificially with the Jedi Order instead of abandoning them for Washburn.

This woman is nothing but a threat to you and both of your unborn children."

Syscha ground her teeth in fury and frustration. That was not Kreia, but

only a pathetic manifestation of her truly traditional Sith-like desires. She

was above killing. Tysyacha decided she would only do so in self-defense.

"If you please, Master," whispered Syscha. "Step back. Let us do battle."

"But, my Tysyacha, you're--"

"Pregnant?" She smiled gently. "Do you think that if you let this one go,

if she and her Jedi conquer us, that they will let us live? No, as far as

the galaxy reaches! I'll win--don't worry--and I'll soon join you in the

Great Hall of the Temple. My lady," she said, turning to Tirya, "perhaps

your skills with a lightsaber will reveal how much hatred burns within you!"

Reluctantly, Elron stepped back. Instead, he turned to face Wash, who's face was growing redder and redder by the second.

"I can feel the fires of rage licking at your heart. But there is something else...ah...fear...your soul is ripe with it! But fear for what...oh...her safety?" Elron grinned as the man snarled. As the lightsabers of the two women ignited, Wash stepped forward, but Elron stepped in his way, his sabers at the ready.

"No. That fight is between them." he used Force push, forcing the Jedi into the opposite wall, "You will not interfere."

"Amazing what a simple fight will tell you about a person, eh?" Tirya said, igniting her teal lightsaber for the first time since she boarded the ship. "For example," she went on. "I am not angry about the Code's refusal of relationships. It is a disappointment, but not a source of anger."

She held her lightsaber ready, unwilling to attack unless absolutely necessary.

Tysyacha, taken aback by this question, said, "Um, uh--", but then she

recovered herself. Sith Lords, even those of the Lawful Sith, did not stutter

and mumble incoherently when challenged or put to a test of wits by enemies.

"It is not the Jedi Knights whom I hate, for all people can choose to follow

either the Darkness or the Light. Humans are humans. In fact, all sentients

cannot help but be what they are. It is the Jedi Code that I hate, this set

of laws that seeks to suppress and deny emotion, ignore passion, and get

rid of any emotional attachments. Do you remember Bastila, the Jedi Knight

famous for her Battle Meditation? The severed tie with her parents proved

painful to her. Again, I hate not a person, creature, or thing, but a ruleset."

Elron smiled, "You are clever, aren't you? However, you fail to see the answer right in front of your nose. After the resistance to Anger, what is the next most important rule of the Jedi? They do not love. They cannot love. If it is found within their ranks, they destroy it. Their loyalty to their codes degrade and destroy them. The galaxy is falling apart because they refuse to use what power they have to stay alive. The Jedi would rather watch themselves be nearly eradicated than break their precious code!"

(OOC: And now for the portion entitled: 'The Exile's Executioner')

Ormond was feeling sluggish. Substandard. Not up to par. Not 'playing

his 'A' game', as the local swoop racers on Nar Shaddaa liked to call it.

What was wrong? Jedi were swarming around him from all directions, and

to the Lawful Sith Marauder's surprise, they were harder to fight than he

thought they would be. According to the words and wisdom of Dark Lord

Elron and Dark Lady Tysyacha, weren't the Jedi supposed to be weakened

because they followed the flawed Jedi Code? Ormond whirled his blades again.

Something was wrong. A weakness in the Lawful Sith, a crack in their armor.

Snorting with a tyrant's contempt even though he was only a soldier, Ormond

strode boldly toward the Great Hall. His senses were heightened as if by drugs, and sweat poured down his ruddy face. Why wasn't he winning yet?

"Is it a crime to hate when you hate stagnant bureaucracies and

arrogant, self-righteous posturing?", she asked. "You may accuse

me and my Master of the same thing. Go ahead. We are trying to

avoid it, but think of the Masters who exiled me. They lied about

the real reasons why they did it, saying that it was because I

followed Darth Revan to war. Nonsense! They said that I was

a wound in the Force, and they wanted to take it from me twice!

"Is that love? Did they show me any compassion, like they say they

do to all their prisoners? If Master Atris had had her way, I would be

mining rocks at hard labor, or else imprisoned for life in a Force Cage.

I would be helpless, useless without the Force, shattered and empty.

I would live, of course, like I did after Malachor V, but you call that life?!"

((Keep your sabers on, I can only type so fast :D))

"You are persistant. That is good. But you seem to be frustrated. Even better. But I digress. Negotiations?" Elron scoffed, "As if the Jedi would ever trade in their ways for the will of a Sith. After all, when you first saw us on this ship, what was your first instinct? To attack. Negotiations with Jedi would be like signing a death wish. No, it would all lead to war eventually. Besides, did I ever say that it was 'love of a neighbor'? Sorry, try love for passion, and love of one."
