DarthAve
yeah, I've heard more good things than bad. but I really wanna see Wallace and Gromit. I <3 Chicken Run.
Purple Squid
Ooh, I've always loved Wallace and Gromit. Stop motion = underdog, but loved. And, really, it isn't fair to compare CB with TNBC. TNBC's music makes CB's music look like synthesized Game Boy tunes.
DarthAve
synthesized Game Boy tunes, now that made me laugh.
Purple Squid
It's true. And th characters in CB can't hold a candle to the ones in TNBC, though they are quite unique.
Zetz Darke
I was dissapointed with Corpse Bride. I expected it to be SO much better. I mean, it was cute...and the animation was beautiful...and It was funnier then his other animated films...but it just wasn't...up to the expectations of Tim Burton. The Nightmare Before Christmas came together a little more.

Yea...even with Jhonny Depp as the voice. One of the things I noticed with both Corpse Bride and the 1996 James And The Giant Peach, was that everything happened too quickly. Somehow Tim Burton managed to make Nightmare Before Christmas without making the story feel too rushed...but with his other two stop frame films, everything seemed to get a little...crooked in the story line. I was hoping he'd fall for the dead chick. Seems more Tim Burtonish to me.

And much more romantic. :'( I'm a sucker for that stuff. I didn't HATE Victoria, I liked her soft-spokeness, but Victor had more time with Emily. Victor is a jerk. Well, he was supposedly filled with gummy bugs and snakes and lizards and other spooky things of that sort. Like gummy crocodiles, for some reason.
