darthkangaroo Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 What Would A Clone Commander Look Like On Ep.II Battles? Would They Look Like Red Arc Troopers. I Dont Know.Any Ideas?
MachineCult Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Most likely Red Arc troopers, or some kind of red trooper. (the snipers trim is now black.)
Darth Andrew Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I thought the commanders had gold on their armor.
boinga1 Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The devs have shown very little concern for continuity... plus, I think gold is mainly battle droid commanders. We see commanding clones in gold, red, green, and probably other colors.
MachineCult Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 We see them in different colours in Episode III, darthkangaroo was talking about Episode II where we see the commanding clones in Red and the Captains in gold.
Darth Andrew Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 This should solve all issues: None - Trooper Light green - Sergeant; command squads, made of 9 troops Blue - Lieutenant; command platoons, made of 36 troops (4 squads) Red - Captain; command companies, made of 144 troops (4 platoons) Yellow - Commander, tasked with leading regiments of clones (2,304 in total, 16 companies) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clone_troopers
boinga1 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 To clarify, I was talking about the various clone ranks as seen in AOTC. In appears that gold would be the correct command color. However, I still doubt the devs will put it in. I doun't really care, as long as they aren't Galatic Marines... IMO, they wouldn't belong side-by-side with the original clones.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Does a Rebel Gunship look like a Republic Gunship?
^Invader Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 # 212th Attack Battalion (Commander Cody and General Obi-Wan Kenobi) # 327th Star Corps (Commander Bly and General Aayla Secura) # 91st Reconnaissance Corps (Commander Neyo and General Stass Allie) # 41st Elite Corps (Commander Gree and General Yoda) # 501st Legion (Commander Appo and Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader) # Galactic Marines (Commander Bacara and General Ki-Adi Mundi) # 65th Homeworld Security Shock Trooper Legion (Commander Thire) # Sky Corps # Clone Flight Squad Seven (Commander Odd Ball) Also colors are supposed to show what legion they belong too, Blue signifies 501st Legion
Jan Gaarni Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Rank indications can change. Just compare ESB and ANH.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Does a Rebel Gunship look like a Republic Gunship? Can somebody answer this?
MachineCult Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Can somebody answer this? It is a Republic Gunship, with Rebel markings.
TK-8252 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 No such thing as a "Rebel Gunship." SWBF just stole a Republic Gunship and gave it to the Rebels.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Thanks.....that's what I thought it was......
McCusto Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 TK-8252, the Rebels obviously hacked the republic level files and stole the Gunship from there!
TK-8252 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 They didn't call them "Rebel scum" for nothing... they're hax0rz!
Redtech Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Well, how do you think they got the Death Star plans. Ran out the door with the blueprints? Okay, I know Lucas would do something that thick. But everyone knows it was a laptop PC and a Wi-fi connection that did the work.
TK-8252 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Well, how do you think they got the Death Star plans. Ran out the door with the blueprints? Actually they did, just play Dark Forces!
Redtech Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 It ain't really my kind of game. I hate FPS where I spend more time wondering where I'm going then actually shooting things. Fickle, I know.
