Jan Gaarni Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Here we go again. A new trailer to drool over. Enjoy!. It's in Quicktime. And unless I'm not completly sounddef, I believe the voice of Vader will be none other than James Earl Jones. Either that or they've found someone with a nice resemblance.
GhOsT-Jedi Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I hate you... Now I can't wait for it more lol
Juggernaut1985 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 It was a good trailor. Wish the planets were not so clumped together though.
gamefreak Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 It was a nice vid but the planets where bound to be close. I mean 80 planets and only so much space.
Jan Gaarni Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 Solution: Make space larger. Alternate solution: Make planet's smaller.
-=Nuke=- Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 This Trailer ROOOOOXOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZZ..... Btw. 40% of it is old footage ^^ But at least... I LOVE DARTH VADER. BTW No. #2: BOBA FETT AS HERO-IMP-UNIT ROXXXORRRZZZ MUCHO GRANDE MORE!
gamefreak Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 The TIE Advance is in! Just before the "Across the galaxy" screen above the corosant looking planet
vader815 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I loved it! I really Liked "Prepare the fleet for hyperspace captain. We will distroy the rebels in one swift strike!" Muhahahahahahaha
WxDude Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 The TIE Advance is in! Just before the "Across the galaxy" screen above the corosant looking planet I think that was one of those TIE Recon fighters.
lukeiamyourdad Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I think that was one of those TIE Recon fighters. Nope, it's the Tie Advanced. This is a Tie Scout:
FroZticles Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I liked the first one better but this had a small touch of gameplay in it with the moving of a small group of troops.... The first one had a more movie feel though.
Darth Alec Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 "That's the way (ah ha) I like it" (ah ha).
Guest DarthMaulUK Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 You can now download the new trailer from our trailer section http://www.empireatwar.net/fall2005/community/trailers/index.htm DMUK
-=Nuke=- Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Maybe Tie Advance is only Darth-Vader Space-Hero-Unit.... Thanks for Download-Source Darth Maul... watched the trailer nearly 20 times or more yesterday!
Foshjedi2004 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Here you are for anyone who can't use Quicktime for any reason.
-=Nuke=- Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Anyone saw the GRID-Planet in the Trailer? Cant imagine what that could be...
Guest DarthMaulUK Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 It could just be an untextured planet as the code used could still be alpha..but who knows DMUK
JediMasterEd Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Woooooow! They're really doing a nice job with EaW. Can't wait to play it! Those space battles are going to be great! Not saying Star Wars: Warlords (Homeworld 2 mod) isn't good, just the larger engagements get really skippy on my computer...
Gripmaster Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 drat. i wish they had the real Darth Vader voice
Thrawn Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 It's a pretty good Vader voice methinks. I wonder if it is the same guy LucasArts always uses to do his voice or someone different? Maybe the galaxy map can be zoomed in or out to make it look like more space between the planets? I dunno. And the Tie Advanced in the trailer looks like an X1, Vader's prototype, not the mass produced version that appears in Tie Fighter, so I'm guessing that's Vader as a hero unit in space.
Jeff Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Yeah, I thought the Vader voice sounded pretty good. Almost like the real voice, but you can still tell that it isn't the real voice.
Jan Gaarni Posted November 3, 2005 Author Posted November 3, 2005 Well, after listening more too it, I doubt it's the real voice, but the part where we see him up close in the dark, has to be the real voice, and quite possibly 2 sound clips mixed together to form a new sentence. I just haven't been able to figure out where from the films it's taken from yet.
