I don't get it, people complain about Grievous being thrown in to move the plot forward. But what about Lando?

What about Lando? at this time he must've been too young to pilot the Falcon (the Millenium Falcon we see on Coruscant after the battle is someone elses at the time being.)

No, that's called an easter egg.

Lando didn't even move the plot forwards he's like every other character that has barely any use..

... The **** have you been smoking?

is that a guy or a girl in your icon? @liayd

... You must have very poor vision, it's clearly a girl.

Very poor vision my @ss, I mean literally, after you see it a dozens you'll know it's a guy, but if seeing the new icon (haven't been around in a while) for the first time you wouldnt tell the difference, but anyway I found that Lando barely served as anything and he wasn't nessacarily thrown into the movies like Greivous was (although he did have appearances in things such as CW), but what would you expect? everyone who's watch the movies wouldn't know who someone was, if they were just brought up and introduced. The Millenium Falcon is an easter egg as well, but if you go along with the movie it's just someone who happens to own the Falcon, a very well known easter egg is the clone trooper on Utapau fighting a battle droid with it's bare hands (somehow lost his weapon, I kinda find that a bit hard to understand..)

And you don't think Grievous had a huge part in the story in RoTS? If it weren't for him Anakin's trust in the jedi wouldn't have faultered so much.

Aye, but it still would have happend. Palpatine knew what he was doing, and would have gotten to Anakin sooner or later.

Lando, on the other hand, decieved Han, and pretty much handed over to Vader, who then froze him in carbonite, and let Boba take him to Jabba. This wouldn't have happend without Lando. Oh, and without Lando Han never would have gone to cloud city. Therefore Luke wouldn't have gone their, meeting vader again, losing his hand, and finding out that he was his father. It also allows us to open up ROTJ and leads to Jabba's defeat, and overall changes luke's personal goal. Half of ROTJ wouldn't have been possible without Lando.

Grevious, on the other hand, just sped up Anakin's down fall. Palpatine had him where he wanted him anyways.

If, you put it that way, Lando is most likely the most important character that isn't a main character.

No not at all, I can see as good as I need to and just for a simple mistake I don't need any criticism or **** even from someone who has over 5000 posts than me, and I made the mistake of saying guy instead of girl people aren't perfect so don't criticise me.

it's up to me to go back on the topic then...

I think General Grievous did serve a purpose beyond couching.

I think it was supposed to show that they had the technology to 'make' Vader.

Only problem: Show the creators of Grievous then, and create some side story about them.

oh yeah, another purpose: He can serve in a comercial against smoking...
