Could some one summerise (hope I spelled that right lol) what happend in KOTOR2? You never meat up with Revan. It is impossible because you got to customise your own Revan in the first KOTOR. After you gether all the Jedi (if you're light) you will go to Dantooine. That's when Krei should kill them. After, you will get on the ship and Atton wil tell you that Krei is a Sith and she's been manipulating you all this time, blah, blah, blah. When you go to find her you will run into Atris. Then, you will have to go back to Telos to help fight off the Sith. You should kill Darth Nihilus and blow up his ship. Later, you will run into Carth and (at least, he said to me) he'll say blah, Revan, blah I love her, blah. Then you go to find Krei. When your ship crash lands, you go on your own to find Krei. Before you meet her you should see Darth Sion. Kill him or not, he will die. Then, you kill Krei (or not) and it pretty much ends.

Venom750
Most people tend to say Revan was a man because you automatically think of him as a dude

Achilles
As far as cannon is concerned, Revan was a Light Side male. I've read speculation that the Exile will be Light Side female. For those of you that don't really care what cannon says, feel free to argue amongst yourselves. Just realize that there's no way to prove your position or disprove others (bringing you back to cannon ).

Just realize that there's no way to prove your position or disprove others (bringing you back to cannon ). "Cannon" or "canon"? Not trying to be a smartass. Just trying to figure out the terminology. I guess that means "it's official". Or does the word mean "generally accepted." Where did you see that Revan was a lightside male? I've only seen speculation based on something written on the official KoTOR webpage. Never read it myself, just read about it. I had a feeling that the Exile was a female. The relationship with Atris seemed, to me, to be more plausible as that of a sisterly bond, rather than the bond between a man and a woman. And a female can wrap her mind around the complexity of Atton Rand, and his disturbing past. As I said, IMHO.
Vladimir-Vlada
Is it pretty much a fact that Revan was a Women? As far as I am concerned: NO. His profile is way too strange to be considered a female: Revan was brutal, efficent, agrresive, curel, ambitious, merciless; and he didn't even blink when he ordered the slaughter of so many people. And to consider such a agressive ruler to be a beautiful woman??? Doesn't make sense to me. Men are brutal. So that's what I think. While I also consider the Exile as a male because not only when he blew the HELL out of that place he lived to tell, but he didn't cry or whimper for a second. I don't think that a female would be so cold-blooded. I might be wrong, but that's what I think at any rate.
TheGreenGoblin
^^ Well those qualities aren't exclusive to men you know, far from it. Anyway, Revan went off to fight the true Sith which apparently was always his goal from the start. What the true Sith are, nobody actually knows, but its stated they have been hiding all this time manipulating events to weaken the Jedi and Republic. As for gender, I've always assumed he was a man, since A. The Revan model looks masculine to me and secondly B. The Bastila-love storyline fits in well with the central themes of the story and carries more punch than Carth. For KoTOR II, I usually play as a guy but the female Exile ties in much more strongly with Atton, especially seeing as how one of his cut endings was him taking torture for you, which I thought was a nice way of coming full circle. Robb Stark
Canon means that it is accepted by the people George Lucas has picked to decide which will be the official position of his companies should other creative works in the future refer back to the material concerned. In this case those people decided that if other works refered to Revan it would be as a male who reformed and helped the Republic in his quest to destory Malak after he lost his memory. In the case of the Exile, Lucas's people have not decided gender and alignment. Rumors that the Exile will be canonized a LS female is due to an effort by a group of players who decided that since Revan was canonized a male that Exile should be a female. Heroes/Sith-killers in the Star Wars universe are almost always LS, so Exile will certainly be LS as he/she is also the "last Jedi" (not really but close enough--since we know the Jedi survive through this ordeal it's unlikely that the "last" of them would have joined the Sith for purposes of the story of the Star Wars Galaxy). My personal feeling is that based on the story both of them should be male. If one were to be female it should have been Revan. While a ruthless military strategist seems to fit a male better, it could also fit a super-intelligent female who learned from Kreia that strength and power is achieved through conflict. Malak seemed to defer to Revan in a way that would have been believable had this been the case and the awe and respect Bastila comes to feal towards your character before she turns is certainly believable as her holding you up as a female role-model. Plus the mask makes sense for a female who would attempt to cover her identity from those who knew her only from afar because she knew that they would be less inclined to follow a female into war. And the Star Wars universe needs a female character in the roles of ultimate villain and ultimate hero, and Revan fills both. But that ship has sailed. I think Exile should definitely be a male. Giving the command to use the MSG to destroy an entire planet and the surrounding fleets is a "male" act. It's an all-or-nothing decision that contradicts the stereotypical female conflict-resolution/there-is-always-another-way thought process. And while the Atris-Exile relationship may seem sisterly it can also be interpreted as Atris having an emotional/romantic attachment to the Exile and hating him for abandoning her to follow Revan. IMO the reaction of the other masters you meet seem more applicable to a male Exile. Moreover, given that Revan is canonical male, a male Exile fits with Kreia's experience in targeting powerful males to train: Revan, Sion, Nihilus, etc. Plus, the combo of Visas, Mira, Kreia, and a female PC creates a weird sisterhood/girl-power feel IMO whereas Visas, Mira, Kreia, Handmaiden, and a male PC feels more like a group of people following the Exile because of his influence and destiny (as long as you're playing like a LSer should and being concerned about the fate of the galaxy rather than romancing your companions). Whew. Okay I'm done.
PoiuyWired
Well, remember, there is Desciple, which is a piece of %(*&%&*(%($*(&% lowlife you want to ignore his existance all together. So as a male Exile you only have to see him once. Yes, handmaiden is way more interesting than desciple.
Vladimir-Vlada
it could also fit a super-intelligent female who learned from Kreia that strength and power is achieved through conflict. If she was a Super-Intelligent female, then she wouldn't be stupid to buy that. The only one who would even reconsider that is a male in my opinion. Because just watching Bastila's behaviour clearly show that only a male would be capable to slaughter. That's what I think at any rate.
Nedak
I think that the Exile is also a Male because of the story line of how he loved the (cant remember name for some reason) Artis's servent (sister).
Vladimir-Vlada
Artis's servent (sister) Oh, you mean the Handmaiden. Although I don't understand the sister thing. Was there something I missed about Atris' relatives?
The_Maker
You aren't alone Vlad, I too kinda got confused where Atris got all the "Handmaiden Sisters", if they were related to one and another I could believe that but where did they come from? I already know about THE Handmaiden but I dunno about the rest... As for the question regarding Revan, no. You never meet him/her with the exception of the Korriban tomb vision but that it more of a "vision than the actual person
90SK
If you take a closer look during that scene, at the beginning the Exile (your character) fades from Revan's side. So, it can't be the real Revan. How could *you* be at his side? As for Handmiden, "sister" doesn't need to mean blood related. Though they all are, I think. Atris isn't related to any of them. Vladimir-Vlada
Have you three payed attention to what did the Handmaiden say? She explained everything: The Handmaidens were children of the same father and the same mother (except Brianna).
Achilles
But where did they come from and how did they come into her service? o_OIf you follow the dialog with Handmaiden, she'll tell you that they are the daughters of Yusanis (an Echani General). The other sisters shared the same mother, however Handmaiden was born by some Jedi homewrecker that Yusanis chased after during the Mandalorian Wars. How they came to serve Atris isn't revealed in the story, however since Atris appears to be Echani, I've always just assumed that she looked to her homegirls when she decided to start her own Jedi academy *shrugs*
