MayNilad Warrior
i dont see how useful unarmed combat is esp. after you've gotten enough skill and/or cash to give your NPC some vibroblades and/opr blasters
RobQel-Droma
It is very useful, especially since your damage and attack and defense increases as you gain levels. Bao-Dur is good with that metal arm of his, I usually have "unarmed" as his secondary weapon; his sheild breaker is especially useful. The Handmaiden absolutely rocks at unarmed combat. Her primary weapon is "unarmed" , you should have seen her take out Gammoreans and Exchange thugs. Either that or I have her secondary weapon her staff. Achilles
Be warned that Bao-Dur's special unarmed combat feat is broken. It isn't quite the same, but you can edit feats.2da to replace his broken unarmed combat feat with Handmaiden's Echani Strike (I-III). And if you super anal retentive (like I am) you can even go into dialog.tlk and edit the feat descriptions to give the feat a whole new name and everything Sidebar aside, yes it is useful, but the usefullness is deminished if you someone who goes for quick kills and uber-powerful weapons over purism. In other words, it's just as viable as melee weapons or blasters, however if you like to play double wielding the most powerful weapons in the game, then it will quickly fall by the wayside. Emperor Devon
It looks cool, but I never use it. No one in my party does, since I don't have the handmaiden, and Bao-Dur seems like the person who'd use a gun.
PoiuyWired
Well, unarmed combat help you to charge up Brianna's landing ramp...
Vladimir-Vlada
The Unarmed combat in TSL was ridicoulsously powerful in my opinion. You could, literally, just use Unarmed combat through the entire game and beat every living thing to a pulp. I like Martial Arts, but not even Bruce Lee could use Martial Arts to defeat everyone all of the time.
Prime
The Unarmed combat in TSL was ridicoulsously powerful in my opinion. It is. Before you get a lightsaber it is the most powerful weapon.
The Doctor
^Even after, it's still one of the most powerful forms of attack you can use.
Ztalker
it's trange you will never find a NPC use it... So why bother use it youself? It could be cool if the other pseron uses Martial Arts and stuff too, but i don't fancy beating Darth Sion to pulp with my bare hands ( i tried it though)
GuitarNProgress
the huge increases to damage from the Feat Unarmed Specialist (ck?) make it easily more worthwhile that a Vibroblade, and even measures up to Lightsabres. However, you don't get the cool Force Redirection without learning the power ;/.
