((Sorry Wj didn't see your post))

Upon landing on Dorin a Kel'Dor female wnet to where Malia and Tayla had landed.

- "Greeting, it is not often that we are visited by humans...we are pleased to have you here, we will be happy to assist you" - the Kel'Dor female said.

================

- "No master Valgo, we have not recieved word, wait....there are three starships and two fighters on our scopes" - the padawan said.

- "It's them" - Lady Andril said.

The three ships went out of hyperspace followed by the two fighters. Juhn-Kai flew his fighter to the spaceport of Glee Anselm. He landed next to Emukiel's ship and noticed Valgo and Lady Andril's fighters. He smiled and walked to the cantina. There she saw Lady Andril and Valgo waiting. When he approached Lady Andril bowed to him and he bowed back.

- "We never used to bow to each other Andy" - Juhn-Kai said.

- "We were never apart for so long my old friend" - Lady Andril said smiling to him.

- "How true...May I present my great friend and Jedi Master Emukiel Ae-Saefar, though I have a feeling you two have already met" - Juhn-Kai said.

((Feel free to create the circumstances of their previous encounter Darth Tepe ;) ))

((Hurrah!))

"Yes, we have met. And our last meeting was not very pleasant" Emukiel said and looked at the woman for a moment as the memories crept into his mind. "Juhn-Kai, you remember when I told you of my mission on Kashyyyk and a resigned jedi that decided to put some obstacles infront of me when I had almost catched Griego Bellana, the assassin" he said and steped forwards. "Unfortunately, I did not get her name then and she slipped from the planet before I could catch her and bring her to the council"

Valgo stood up and looked at his master and then at Lady Andril. "This is her? I thought she was the one that helped you catch Bellana near Trandosia"

"Nope, this is the one that did everything but helped me"

"So," Seriphyn said through the comms as he jumped out of hyperspace, "That was it? I thought we were gonna board that thing!"

He swerved the ship into line with the transport for docking. Seriphyn then realised his comments might be a bit bloodthirsty. In fact, it wasn't really 'too' bloodthirsty, but with the slippery slope situation with Emukiel, he decided to dismiss it.

"Ah, whatever. I'll see onboard" Seriphyn said while he docked with the starship.

He waited for the distinct thump when the dropship landed in the hangar, before deactivating all the systems.

"Alright. Come on" he gestured to Botras and Jill.

((Seriphyn, you had boarded the ship, I said Jill and you had boarded before the jump to hyperspace and Bortras is the planet you found Master Borus in))

Master Borus moved to the chambers on the ship and went into meditation. Jill and Seriphyn were alone now.

Lady Andril bowed again to Emukiel.

- "I am sorry for those events, I did not feel I was wrong at the time...although in these years I have come to understand my big error in judgement" - Lady Andril said.

Juhn-Kai shook his head.

- "There will be a time to speak of this but now we must tend to the matters at hand, the ship the council is is has no longer any protective and shielding capabilities, we will have to move the counli to the biggest of your ships Eki, and then we'll call for a meeting of the council" - Juhn-Kai said.

((I think Seriphyn meant the Sith ship))

Emukiel looked at Lady Andril and nodded. "We shall indeed talk about it later" he said and then looked at Juhn-Kai. "The transport has practically no weaponry. If we are to face the Sith in a battle, our weaponry is relying completely on the fighters we have and we don't have enought pilots or fighters to effectively do any damage to the sith. We have a couple of armed ships on Corellia and more on Coruscant, don't we?" he added and looked around. Valgo oberved their surrounding quickly. "We should not have this discussion here. Let's head back up and meet the council" Valgo said and Emukiel nodded, taking his comlink out. "Captain, dock with the Council ship and get the jedi there aboard your ship. We'll meet you all soon" he said and the captain of his lead transport responded quickly. "Yes, sir. The transfer will be ready in 20 minutes"

Juhn-Kai nodded.

- "Yes, we have armoured transports back on Coruscant, I only suggested it because a ship with no weapons like yours is better that one that does have but is on the edge of exploding into oblivion...we will meet up with the council...there is much we need to discuss Lady Andril, Master Borus and I, but you are welcome to join us Emukiel, after all we need to talk about old times" - Juhn-Kai said.

- "Borus is alive?" - Lady Andril asked.

- "Yes, Andy and Vloo is coming too" - Juhn-Kai said.

- "What about Lady Krena and Lady Rinna?" - Lady Andrill asked.

Juhn-Kai looked down.

- "We lost Lady Krena two years ago...Sith ambush...and Rinna won't come" - Juhn-Kai said.

- "Have you ask.." - Lady Andril said but was cut bye Juhn-Kai's sudden reaction.

- "She won't come!" - Juhn-Kai said and started walking - "I'm sorry, let's go."

Juhn-Kai got inside his fighter and Lady Andril on hers.

- "Come on Eki, we'll meet in your academy's transport" - Juhn-Kai said.

Emukiel and Valgo walked after them and jumped into their fighters. The weequay got ready and then flew off. The mood was quite uncomfortable as they took off and continued until they landed into the transport's hangar. "Valgo, get the council gathered into the conference room. I'll get everyone else gathered up" he said and Valgo rushed off to find the Council. The dropship of Seriphyn was also in the same hangar and he looked at it for a moment before walking to the nearest crew member. "Is Master Borus here?"

"Yes, he's meditating in room 552"

"Get him and tell himto meet us in the conferenc room immediately"

"Yes, master"

The jedi scurried off and Eki turned around. "Come, I'll show you the way to the conference room" he said and walked to the door, suddenly stopping at turning to a jedi. "Find Seriphyn and Devious and tell them to come over to the conference room. This involves them also and their presence is needed" he said and the jedi rushed off. Eki then continued to lead the way throught the ship

Juhn-Kai followed Eki along with Lady Andril, soon after they arrived at the conference room.

================

Jill was with Seriphyn when the Jedi padawan walked inside.

- "Jedi Seriphyn and Padawan Devious, please report to the conference room immediately, Master Emukiel's orders" - the padawan said and left the dropship.

- "Let's go Seriphyn" - Jill said as she walked to the loading ramp and followed the padawan to the conference room.

The council had already gathered when Jill and Seriphyn arrived and had started to plan their next move. Emukiel was silent on his seat and looked as the two were brought in. He lenaed back and Valgo was sitting on the other side of the room as a spectator and also as an advisor of some things like planets he had been on and the others hadn't and such info, but now he was also quiet, only waiting for this subject to be over with soe they could get planning on how they would get all the jedi together

"Are you the one we're looking for?" Malia asked impatiently.

"We have been sent to bring you back, if you will go with us," Tayla said. She recognized the one that had greeted them. "I apologize. Malia still has something to learn of patience."

((Wild, I would assume that the greeter would be a normal soldier or guard, making sure that the people arriving weren't there to raid the whole planet or something. And besides, before you get the name of the greeter, you shouldn't tell the greeter where you need to take who you're trying to find. You never know who he's going to tell the info))

The Kel'Dor female shook her head.

- "Perhaps you are talking about Vloo, it is no wonder that you've mistaken me for her, after all I'm her daughter, please come, she waits at the enclave...oh by the way I am Klee" - the Kel'Dor female said and escorted them to the Enclave.

Upon entering a voice greeted Malia and Tayla.

- "It has been a long time since I've seen Jedi Knights, especially humans in our planet, I welcome you...I am Lady Vloo and I know why you have come, I read your pupil's mind Tayla as she came in" - Lady Vloo said - "If we are to meet the Jedi we must leave now, come Klee...they will need you as well."

Klee nodded and followed to the hangar.

Juhn-Kai asked for silence and the room quiet down.

- "All the other masters have spoken, I ask Master Ae-Saefar to give his comments now" - Juhn-Kai said looking at Eki.

Master Ae-Saefar leaned back still and thought for a moment, the room silent except for the hiss of the closing door. He rubbed his chin slowly before taking his hand to his side and finally speaking.

"This is a very problematic situation and cannot be addresed without the proper numbers of both parties. However, I must make up my mind. I am with the minority of masters here and think that we should lay low for a while. Until we get more jedi gathered, it is no good for us to commence an attack against the sith if we do not have their whereabouts or the minimum of needed jedi to fight them" he said and shook his head slowly.

"The jedi from Coruscant and Sriluur are not enought. We need the rest of the academies to scatter their jedi and only to come out of hiding and regroup only when the council gives the order. If the sith get the location of a couple of jedi, it is better to lose those couple of jedi than to lose a whole academy full of jedi" he added and sighed, leaning forwards and looking at Juhn-Kai.

"We will need the Republic's military on our next attack... But we will need a commander that is loyal to our cause, but not a jedi..." he said and looked at Seriphyn, continuing his sentecne a moment later. "...for we jedi are not generals"

((Argh, everything's moving quickly. Sorry, I'm getting a bit addicted to Civilization IV at the moment))

"I agree" Seriphyn pointed out. He decided to put his friendship with Sam to the side at the moment.

"I'm not sure about Nostaw. He's a good officer but he seems to be more concerned about the Republic against the Sith and not the Jedi against the Sith. This presents a problem with us selecting a Republic commander. Right now, I could do without the Republic military burden. I am a Jedi, I think it's about time I started acting like one"

He knew he couldn't stick 100% to that. Seriphyn still cherished the marines of the 17th; a hybrid of both agape and philos love for them. He shivered at the thought of that, but didn't deny that he felt that way.

"If it is absolutely necessary, I will lead any Republic forces in this next battle. *Only* if it's absolutely necessary and, of course, at your discretion" he felt kind of stupid saying that as he contradicted himself, but Seriphyn realised that there was always a chance that he might have to lead the Republic again. Truth is, he would rather be concerned about the lives of himself and Jill (as well as Juhn-Kai, Emukiel and the others, but not as much as so) then also having to worry about the lives of several hundred Republic soldiers.

A jedi master next to Juhn-Kai, and one of the few that has been rumoured to know the most about the force and the ways it can be used besides some ancient jedi like Val-Kan and Juhn-Kai, sat back and spoke, interrupting Emukiel's new sentence dead on it's tracks.

"Jedi Knight [insert Seriphyn's last name here], the jedi are not generals of the Republic. I have not agreed on Master Ae-Seafar's critique of you before the battle started, but now I must say that I am very disappointed. A general might leave his soldiers behind, but jedi do not without mourning. Your feelings give away your betrayal towards the jedi healer, and I do not want anything like that happening again. Because the council would not demote you back to being a padawan, my hands are mostly tied, but what I can do is to seperate you from the target of your feelings. I vote for the Jedi Knight to be placed under Master El-Maekar's(Valgo) care. He will take care that you will not fail our cause and the jedi order again" he said and looked around the room. Valgo stood up at the mention of his name but stayed quiet and only nodded after the jedi master had spoken in agreement of their decision.

Emukiel leaned back again and spoke before the vote started. "Seriphyn, this is only a precaution. You know too much and you are a liability if you turn to the dark side, which almost happened already. Valgo will be there to make sure that you won't get turned and if the worst case scenario happens and you turn, you will not give any secrets to the sith. Besides, the help of Master El-Maekar and his teachings can prove themselves useful on your next set of missions. He will not be your master, but more of an active observer that will stand by you and fighting with you if needed to" he said and looked at Seriphyn. nodding as reassurance. Seriphyn had probably before that seen the shock on Emukiel's face as he heard his old master's words even if he partly agreed

((check my bio on Page 1. It's Estranho, Spanish for wierd I think))

Seriphyn gritted his teeth, "Masters, with absolute respect, I *almost* turned to the Dark Side only because of the...presence of Master Ae-Saefar and El-Maekar. They suggested a possible demotion to Padawan, which had got me angered in the first place. It was them that forced me to what you call a potential turn to the Dark Side. Even now, this whole incident is increasing my chances for a fall. I'm shocked how you fail to realise this..."

Seriphyn realised he was being a tad bit too arrogant in self-assessing himself like his was a Master and blaming everything on Valgo and Emukiel. He sighed and looked at Juhn-Kai briefly.

"I'm sorry. I'll accept the 'observations', or whatever you call it of Master Valgo. However, as I mentioned earlier on, I'd like to be trained by Master Juhn-Kai in addition, if that's all right"

Emukiel was about to respond but the jedi master next to Juhn-Kai spoke first. "I am confused, Jedi Estranho. You say you do not want to become a padawan, but want Juhn-Kai to train you like a padawan learner" he said and leaned forward with a smile on his human lips.

"Master El-Maekar will not be your master, for you are no padawan. But if you incist that Master Ryu will teach you, you must also be a padawan. There are many ways of learning, even if your arrogant Republic commander mind will not see that fact" he said and looked at him and then at Jill.

"I will give you my adivce and my advice only. It is not a good idea to put you two travelling together. You have much hidden emotions and secret thoughts that only few can bare without travelling to the dark side and you have proven that you indeed are not powerful enought to withstand the pain that will come to you eventually" he said and shook his head before leaning back again.

Emukiel shook his head quietly, even if he agreed on the ideology behind the jedi master's words. His voice rang inside Seriphyn's head softly.

'I do not fully agree on his words, but the pain you will suffer for your emotions will be grave. I am concerned, ad you need the best help that you can get when the world decides to play it's brutal tricks on you, my friend. When the force finally reveals it's true power to you, it is a crossroad that you cannot go back to when you have chosen one path' Emukiel's voice said as he continued looking at the jedi knight.

Valgo still stood behind them and waited for what was to come. He knew these two jedi practically arguing of Seriphyn's faith and what should be done to him. The jedi master had once been the mentor of Master Ae-Saefar, and after the academy of riluur was appointed to Emukiel's care, the two had distanced themselves from each others quite effectively. The two had the same set of thoughts, but different kind of approaches and that eventually split the two. That was also one of the reasons why Emukiel hadn't accepted the invitations to join the councilwhen someone stepped down or was killed in action or by natural causes

Juhn-Kai raised a hand to ask for silence. The room fell quiet as quickly as he did so.

- "I hate to use myself as example but sometimes I have no other choice, during the war for the Establishment of the Republic as the form of government I was an Admiral of the Republic forces, but I was a Jedi first, and there was no question on who I supported first. That is why I feel a conection to what Seriphyn is feeling, but...when the time came I had to make a choice...wether to remain a Jedi or a republic officer...my presence here today makes my choice clear to you all...you can not be split in two...a man that serves two lords will eventually betray one...Seriphyn has decided to remain a Jedi knight and leave the republic forces to their own...he has done a brave thing and what is right...I will train him if the council agrees to it. Now...I must express agreement with Master Emukiel, all Jedi Academies must be warned and evacuated. We will gather all Jedi forces on Illum, that is our most secret Temple, well out of the way of the Sith, we will prepare there for what is to come and free our padawans from the grasp of the darkside" - Juhn-Kai said looking around at the members of the council and awaited comments from them all.

Seriphyn breathed a sigh of relief; he was glad this was over and didn't turn into another repeat of what happened a while back on the cruiser. He turned back to Jill and smiled. A smile that soon turned into a frown as he realised what the Council were going to do to the two of them.

He bowed at Juhn-Kai, "Thank you, Master. I'd still like to supervise the 17th Seraph Division, as in watch over indirectly; not lead them in battle. An executive 'officer' if you will"

Seriphyn said 'officer' in invisible inverted commas as he realised that he wasn't officially a Republic officer anymore.

"I've done to much for those men to simply abandon them. They'll need a figurehead similar to planetary governments that are constitutional monarchies, like Onderon"

Seriphyn realised he began to sound a little stupid, so he quit while he was ahead.

"I hope you understand..."

Emukiel nodded with a smile and looked at Seriphyn. The old master of Emukiel leaned back and frowned a bit at the words of Juhn-Kai. Emukiel leaned back quietly and took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. Valgo looked at him and his eyes went wide. The weequay that had stood behind this whole moment now sat down and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath also. It seemed as if they were not breathing, but the next minute or so was a long, silent exhale for the weequays. After the exhale, Emukiel smiled and opened his eyes, even thoght Valgo did not open his eyes until Emukiel had finished what he was going to say.

"Jedi Knight Estranho, if we are to trust you with the lives of the whole jedi order and one day the rank of a jedi master, you must be tested. We will test you when we get to Illum, and I request the council to grant me the opportunity to test the abilities and knowledge over the force of this Jedi knight infront of us" he said and looked around the room at each jedi council members slowly. He had been to Illum many times for it is a peaceful place and it has the best little places to hide and think

Emukiel shook his head and looked at Juhn-Kai.

"I am sorry, Master Ryu, but I must do it alone. Other jedi around might confuse the energy and I need peace and quiet for my test. All of my students must got throught the test, and I might even say that it is a secret of the teachers in the Jedi Academy of Sriluur" he explained and nodded slowly

Juhn-Kai nodded.

- "Very well, send a notice to all academies to meet on Illum, council is adjourned...please empty the room for Master Emukiel and Seriphyn" - Juhn-Kai said and all other masters started to leave the room. Suddenly the room was empty and Juhn-Kai took Jill by the arm and escorted her outside. Leaving Seriphyn and Emukiel in the room alone.

Emukiel nodded and waited for the room to clear. He slowly stood up and and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and concentrating. A smile came onto his lips and he placed his hands wide open.

"Take my lightsaber and stab me throught my chest. Unleash all the hatred you have towards me and stab me. I know you want to, Seriphyn" he said in a calm voice. Then his voice grew strong and it echoed in the room loudly, but only to Seriphyn. "Do it!" he said, the echo repeating it five or six times.

Valgo walked anctiously in the corridor outside the conference room. What if Seriphyn really did do it. What then...? Valgo was never comfortable when a jedi was tested this way. Especially if Emukiel was the tester

Seriphyn squinted at Emukiel in confusion. He frowned. When Seriphyn and Jill were 'running away', he certainly did feel like doing what Emukiel was suggesting. But what about now?

He bit his lower lip hard, at tender skin where it had been slashed slightly by a lightsaber years ago. The blood creeped into his mouth, the metallic taste touching the tip of his tongue.

Seriphyn realised that, throughout this entire time, Emukiel and Valgo have completely misunderstood him. The two of them barely knew Seriphyn, yet they believed that he should be punished somewhat for his actions. Of course, he couldn't blame them with the behavior he was displaying. The reason he was irritated by them so much previously was through his own actions.

Seriphyn shook his head.

"I don't know what sort of person you think I am, Master", Seriphyn said before turning round and heading out of the chamber.
