The Doctor
I know this is also posted in the Indiana Jones and Knights of the old Republic sections, but I want as many people to have input into the article as possible. I recently dug around a little bit in Wikipedia, and noticed that Lucas Forums is only mentioned a few times. I have resoilved this little issue. Lucas Forums now has it's won article in Wikipedia. Although it was started by myself, it has had input from many of our fellow LF users. If you feel that the article is lacking something, then please don't heitate to edit it, as long as your input is appropriate to the subject matter and would not be considered spam here at LF. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucasforums
Hallucination
YAY I'm the first one here! I don't have much to say except good job, and that you forgot to put a link to the Wiki here .

Astrotoy7
lolz.... wiki's editors have spotted it and are dissing your skillz doc An editor has expressed a concern that the topic of this article may be unencyclopedic...... I can have a stab at tweaking it but it wont be until this weekend way too busy wrapping up my masters project before the holiday break actually, looking at it now, its is developing a 'too much info' slant. I dont think the aim of wiki entries is to give you every single detail - but rather to describe where you can get the details mtfbwya
swphreak
Yeah, can everyone say unencyclopedic? I hope the editor succeeds in getting that article deleted, because all I see is a bunch of links, and nothing encyclopedic. Perhaps if you actually wrote articles, and not just links? Maybe write about how LucasForums came to be? I think all the forums were merged many moons ago, and out of the ashes came the LFN. Weren't there some "forums wars?" Why not talk about how some admins are buddy buddy with LucasArts peeps? Content people, not just copying and pasting links. Untill it is fixed, I give the article a frowny face. Prime
Yeah, at most this site should just have have an external link on wikipedia. I'd hate to see that site get cluttered with entries about different websites...
Astrotoy7
Yeah, at most this site should just have have an external link on wikipedia. I'd hate to see that site get cluttered with entries about different websites... trueism primeski... I dont want to see wiki rubbished either. And their eds were spot on calling the current content up. Unless someone else feels a burning desire, im going to give it a go later this week (ive outlined the planned structure/content at AHTO) mtfbwya
Jan Gaarni
Yes, this looks more like an ad. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice gesture, but it needs more volume to it, like how LucasForums came to be and that it's part of an even greater network, called LucasArts Fan Network, which includes LucasFiles, LucasForums, and various websites dedicated to the games. Let's see what Astro manages to include in it.
The Doctor
I don't know how to make it more "encyclopedic", so anyone who can is welcome to do so.
MachineCult
Who was the forum originally made by?
The Doctor
^It was originally a bunch of small forums sites that got put under one URL, as far as I know. I don't know much more than that, which isn't encyclopedia material on it's own.
Astrotoy7
ive had a go -see what y'all think, feel free to edit. Just keep it crisp and to the point, thats what wiki is meant to be about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucasforums @Jan. if you would like to edit to include the stuff about Lucasfiles and fan network, thatd be great. I really dont know much about those areas at all. mtfbwya

The Doctor
Yes, the article is much better. Though in my defense, the original article only had one link, and that was to the Lucas Forums main page. I only added the ionfo about the KotOR section, which has since been deleted in the name of encyclopedic...ism. You know what I mean.
Astrotoy7
I like the how you changed it Astrotoy7. Especially, with the word, "Australasia." hey, theres aussies and new zealanders at LF, so its 100% accurate. mtfbwya

Astrotoy7
lolz...seriously, I dont know what wookieepedia is, and I dont even want to think about it. All we need is another unofficial SW info source I'll stick with sw.com and CUSWE mtfbwya
