Okay, so we know it's Christmass, most of us know what we got, so here's the final bit of intel...

 

HOW DID YOU FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR PRESENT WAS, AND DID YOU OPEN IT LIKE YOU HAD SOME MANNERS???

Basically I always ask, and get, the same thing every year. Cold hard cash. I never ask for gifts because someone always ends up getting me something I don't like, so I say, just make it easy on yourself mom, and throw a fifty in an envelope. Then, I combine everything that I get, and go off on a long deserved shopping spree... Ooh... RAM...

The last one. Presents aren't a big part of Christmas for me. Being with my family and celebrating the birth of Christ is what it's all about for me.

I don't like the 'presents time'. The kids always overreact and I can't stand that. I would never want to live close to an elementary school.

I didn't think about it, and concentrated instead on helping to put up the decorations.

I'm the one who likes to sneak downstairs at night and very carefully untape the paper on one of the gifts. Hubby now solves that by a. just getting something I've told him I like, or b. keeping the presents at work so I don't have access to them. Now, of course, I'm the one who has to start hiding the gifts from the kids.
