RicardoLuigi... Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 The New Year is sooo overrated. Happy New Year anyway!
Joshi Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Go on then, resolution time, go on, share with us, what you gonna fail to do this year? I'm gonna save money, before christmas I was completely broke, my parents gave me £100 for Christmas, I've spent £30 of it so far, so that's definately going well. I may get a job in the new year, but I aint promising nothing. Oh, and Happy New Year!
SteveBB Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Happy new year, I guess. Although I can't understand why we should celebrate the new YEAR on one particular day. I mean a year takes a year, right? so why celebrate it on 1 day, why not all the year round?
Gabez Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 We don't - we celebrate the NEW year, not the new YEAR. ;
Alien426 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 i toasted to health. i.e. not slipping on the icy pavement and breaking my arm. didn't work out.
PoM Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Heh, merry year, everyone. Does anyone else think 2005 was really short?
edlib Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 It was actually slightly longer. By a second. A leap second was added to the end of the year. But we're actually talking about perceptions: 2005 felt long to me. It probably did for a lot of people. All that suffering and hardship and such.
Joshi Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Mother earth didn't have a very good year last year, what with the earthquakes and all, I'm guessing she found it a bit long.
Fealiks Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 new years resolution: avoid any crappy scheme to get more money by Boots (i.e "choose one thing for your resolution with boots for only £9.99!) anyone from UK will know what i mean.... ¬¬
Joshi Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Is that really a resolution, or is it something you've been doing all your life?
Ray Jones Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I swear last year you were jealous for not pulling that one, too.
Ray Jones Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I swear, everytime I read your one of your funny posts I *must* remember the following phrase: "the kernel.org admin team has deemed it necessary to redirect all of these offers to our faithful mail sorting program: /dev/null" Don't know why, though.

Sure thing. So, my New Years Resolutions: ...nah.
Kjølen Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I swear you made that same joke last year. It's a classic.
